Like 75% of the PbP in this forum have the word "Shadow" in the title, so you can understand my confusion

Larik is going to wander back out to the main hangar to see what the ruckus is all about and ask Naught to see if she can heal his crit... er, I mean, take a look at the burn on his elbow that has him 1/15 of the way closer to dying.

So what am I looking at if Naught wants to use Move to close the inner door to at least slow down whatever monstrosity is alerted to their presence?

Is the roar we hear coming from the pit where the shuttle punched through the hangar deck, or elsewhere?

Kaigen, The door is a Silhouette 2 Object, one of the big ones, so if your close its not too much trouble to close, no discipline check, just a power check.

I presume that since Naught was inspecting the clear area that she is within short range of the door. If not, she'll move closer before activating Move.

Heh, well, this seems like a good situation in which to use a DS pip. I'll flip the DP and take the strain and conflict to wrench the door closed.

Heads up, my availability will be a bit limited today and tomorrow. At training for my job both days. I'll have time afterward in the evenings (US eastern time) to catch up.

Can I make a Xenology check based on the sound to see what creature made it? If it's at all similar to the dream, can I get a Boost or Upgrade?

Yes, yes you can, of you can make a Skilled Assistance check with someone if that helps.

Difficulty is Average, Upgraded once for a DP, 1 Setback for the echoes and other creatures noises. Get 2 Boost for your recent experiences.

Queg knows nothing. Taking the strain for the action. Pass a Boost and leave a floating boost.

Queg confidently and reassuringly announces that "Its nothing too big, I'm sure, have definitely faced bigger before..."

Anybody have a grenade we can drop down that hole? Are is there anything we can rig from the scattered equipment lying about?

Mechanics could get you some more defences like barricades. No difficulty for this check, only 2 setback, the degree of success would determine the quality of the construction. anything more complex ill decide difficulty if you have specific ideas.

Perception or Knowledge Warfare to quickly pick through the bodies for specific gear. Difficulty depending on what your looking for, but Grenades would be: Hard Perception, 1 Setback for the Gloom and gore. or Average Warfare, Upgraded once but no setback.

Grabbing 1 boost that I provided, boost for Uncanny Senses. Leaving the floating boost.

I spend the Triumph to say what I find is. a demolitions satchel of thermal detonators

Oh oh... you find that satchel, Yay! but heave all over it and the splattered body of the officer you find them amongst (thats for the one strain you take doing the action). As your searching you hear the squawking getting closer (spent 2 threat on them getting a free maneuver)

Ill say its smaller charges but equivalent to 2 TD's
