Larik will activate sense, take out his glow rod and carefully move toward the door mentioned in the IC post. If he gets all the way to it without being ambushed he'll try looking through it to see what's on the other side.

Quegs not disciplined enough to do that! But very epic and frightening when you consider how easy it would be to do that in this system. Perhaps something for Larik to practice, if Naught wasn't such a goody two shoes she would be excellent at that :P

Doing that from afar isn't Larik's style. He'd just run up and starting hacking away at the walker's legs. haha

Ok, how about Larik finds a door labeled "Main Distribution Board", inside he will need to make another check to actually get emergency power back on, but there is the possibility. That seems like 4 Advantage worth to me, leaving one more to use.

So he finds a reset box. Larik would look it over to see how challenging it looks and decide if he tries it himself or calls Naught over to take a peek.

The remaining advantage he'll use to add a boost to whomever attempts to restart the power.

Its no so much a box but more an entire room of electrical protection and distribution systems, clearly labeled, very neat and efficient in a way only the Empire can achieve.

Remembering I'm a qualified Electrician this is actually one field I understand very well, this is a great example of the kind of distribution room in most Shopping Malls, Hotels, Factories and Office Buildings. (not my work, just a random google search, but you get the idea)

So an average mechanics check? With a boost for the neatly labeled switches? And of course a couple setbacks for it being utter hell in here?

There is no obvious damage in here, no exploded switch boards, just a dark room with lots of well labeled switches:

Average Mechanics, 2 Setback for the dark DDSS

Easy Perception, upgraded once, with 2 Setback for the dark CSS

Average Education, 2 Setback for the dark, another for lack of technical knowledge DDSSS

Hard Knowledge Warfare, with 1 Setback for the dark DDDS

Does the glow rod do anything for the darkness setback dice on the perception option?

i took that into account already, it would be 4 setback in this room without any light source... its cant see your hand 1 inch from your face Pitch black in here.

Larik has notice an oddity near one of the internal doors, and found an Electrical room to try getting some lights back on.

Lalam needs more light to see whats happening in the hole in the floor.

Queg is checking out the Tie Fighters

Naught is recovering from Oxygen Inhalation but has now got time to start investigating.

So the Emergency lights come on. but i think you forgot to isolate something and one of the cabinets next to Larik has an electrical explosion inside it. With the durasteel doors closed Im thinking an Crit for Larik, with -10 to the roll. Minimum 1, but almost entirely preventing a Hard Critical from occurring.

Okay, the Keen Eyed talent I just purchased this morning lets me remove 1 setback from all perception checks...
