Queg's gonna pass out very, very soon lol his pool is AADDCSS

No one said an ISD crashing from orbit without any power would be pretty!
Wimps!
Choking it down : 1eP+2eA+2eD+1eC+2eS 2 successes, 3 threat
Well, it was closer than I thought it would be:
Oh. Oh no.
And that, folks, is what's called hitting us in our dump stat. haha
EDIT: With one obvious exception.
Edited by sonovabithGeez. Poor naught
Not sure what good it'll do, but Queg has a few spare stimpacks. He'll take the bullet of one strain for the action of jabbing a stimpack in the ailing Gand
The Medpac Naught is carrying has a "once per scene" stimpack, so if we go that route, she can probably scramble for something that will help render the oxygen inert.

Sooo, I guess Larik vomits all over the place. Well Prophyt, you wanted an IC. Here comes one. haha EDIT: wait, I missed the passed boost from Prophyt missed boost : 1eB 0 successes, 2 advantage
I still failed, but with one threat instead. How will Larik's breath mask help him in this situation?
Probably should have asked about the Breath Mask before rolling, that would remove one Setback. It still wouldn't make for a success... Gagging inside a respirator, yuck! Take a Strain from that.

Urg...can I take the threat as Strain?
Suffer 1 Strain, and a Setback to your next check as the image of the hanger is burned into you mind and can't stop thinking about it for a while.
Well, it was closer than I thought it would be:
This isn't going to come out well : 2eA+2eD+1eC+2eS 1 failure, 1 Despair
Naught is an ammonia breather. Throwing up is going to require her to remove her respirator, and she treats oxygen atmospheres as a corrosive atmosphere of rating 8. That despair might indicate that she got a lungful of poisonous oxygen while voiding her gorge.
So again the Breathing Equipment would ignore one Setback, unfortunately it still won't give you a success. I'm AFB and can't remember what the effects of a Corrosive Atmosphere have on characters. It sounds like a good idea, but I'll check the rules before I confirm that

IC Larik put the respirator on after vomiting, so thankfully he didn't get it all clogged up with yuck. I wondered will it help offset the strain cost for failing the check you mentioned upthread?
I dont think so, its more than just the smell thats tough on the stomach. Perhaps it may have effects on advantage or threat, but we can see what comes up through the scene.
"Do you know how lucky you are to have gotten away with that stunt?" Larik says to Queg, rolling his eyes at the Rodian. "You could have made this whole situation even worse than it already is!"
He starts to continue berating Queg, but decides it's not worth it. Everyone else seems glad to see him. No need to go further. The worst is behind them. Now all they have to do is get these doors open and that should be enough get the Imperials to go along with the plan.
Sliding through the tiny opening, Larik is hit full force by the smell of death and decay. He didn't realize how wrong he was about the worst being behind them. The worst was actually directly in front of and surrounding them. He fights to keep his gorge down, but is unsuccessful. He hears Queg also lose the battle with his own stomach and walks over to check on the Rodian. Unfortunately the illumination from the lightsaber is not enough for Larik to see Queg's vomit on the floor combining with congealed blood. The human slips on the wretched mixture and falls down on his back, covering his pants and coat in several different substances - none of which he wants on them.
Larik gets up and puts on the breath mask he remembers he has in one of his many pockets. He looks at Queg.
"You owe me a pair of pants," He says, voice slightly muffled.
The human then moves toward the center of the ruined hangar, trying to figure out where to even begin.
Lets have an Average Perception check, 2 setback for the dark and the muck to see if Larik notices anything general about the situation. DDSS
"The past is the past," says Lalam to Larik, musing on what he imagines is philosophy. "Cain't do nothing about it now."
The wave of stench and grisly sight greets his nose and eyes. It's a sorry sight to be sure. He sees stormtroopers, but from under the helmets appears the occasional face, and it's all the more wrenching. Under that armour, they are still just people. He watches his compatriots double over and heave, and the impulse is there, but he chokes it down.
"You guys shouldn't eat such a big breakfast," he says. He picks his way among the bodies, alert for anyone who might still, miraculously, be alive. He heads over to the pit in the floor to see what caused such a crater.
Lalam can make an Average Perception, with 1 Upgrade and 2 Setback for the dark to make sense of the hole in the floor and whats at the bottom. DCSS
Queg: here, Lalam, you can borrow my scanner gogg- oh wait *sour expression*
they still work, just suffer a setback to use, so take 2 gain 1 (I think, otherwise it was a difficulty upgrade)
Hmm...let's see. Queg might activate Farsight to negate setback from darkness and take a looksee.

Ok I checked the Dangerous Atmo rules, seems appropriate for this situation. It will be a once only thing as she gets the mask back on quickly, but takes 8 wounds for the experience. The rules don't say if Soak applies, I'm going to rule it doesn't in this case, but I'm open to input on that.

I could see it going either way. On the one hand, soak does apply for the ongoing damage from weapons with the burn quality. On the other hand, nasty chemicals scarring up your lungs is a whole other kettle of fish. I like the idea of soak not applying if only because I'll have the few wounds left over after stimpacking to use as an excuse to play things up a little for the next few posts.
possibly it bypasses soak from equipment, so in your case reduces it to 2 Soak, therefore 6 damage.
Is there anything useful in the mess : 2eA+1eP+2eD+2eS 1 success, 1 threat
Looks like he discovers something, but it's a rough go.
Also, I'd think Larik would be rushing to help Naught as soon as he realized what happened. We can play it out how ever.

ill IC for this once whafrog has had his roll.
As an aside, does anyone think this scene could be conflicting to their PC? I'm not enforcing it, but its quite grizzly, so its an option to take one point if its fitting.
