The Shadows Mark OOC

By killakan, in Star Wars: Force and Destiny RPG

I just mean I don't want to walk past the open door of,a,room filled with card playing Stormtroopers. Get in the turbolift, calling it,first if,need be, and push the up button.

There are a heap of buttons, how far up?

Hmmmm...comms tower?

There is a local coms station, one floor up, overlooking the hanger. The big one is on or near the bridge... a very long walk away.

Finally getting the chance to trawl 2P51's character thread and found this gem, it captures the feel of this wrecked planet with a crashed ISD so well, pity its not raining!

Let's hit the local comms room

Ok.. Whoosh. Doors open on another corridor. Let's have a Perception Easy, with a Setback.

Ok, hallway leading left and right. there's a couple of Stormtroopers standing guard at a door to the left down the hall a bit. The door is recessed and they are not right in the hall, so they can't see much in your direction. The other direction of the corridor is short too, with a door in the direction of the hanger.

Threat is they hear the turbo lift, and are asking each other WTF.

Hmm. Difficulty to attack them?

Short range, 1 defence. Standard Stormtrooper minions

Okay, I attack with my energy bow, aiming once.

Gotta make quick work of these two : 3eA+2eP+1eB+1eD+1eS 2 successes, 1 advantage, 1 Triumph

Pierce 4, base damage is 8, so 10 wounds with successes

With a Crit from the triumph they both fall, arrows through them

Sounds good. Let me get something up IC, because Queg's done a lot of stuff since his last IC post. In the meantime, Queg is going to "police up" the bodies, take anything of value from their belts and probably take an Imperial commlink too to monitor their local comms for now

IC post complete

Couple of carbines, some food, both helmets are equipped with comlinks, ... Is calmly killing then looting Stormtroopers bodies conflict worthy? Serious question.

I think it's at least enough to garner the conflict for attacking unprovoked. Queg will eat the food because hunger, and leave the helmets. He doesn't have enough technological knowhow to remove the commlink from a helmet

Technically theft is on the list, but it's suggested to mitigate it if you're stealing from the Empire (or another powerful and corrupt authority). Attacking unprovoked is also a conflict point, but Queg is trying to escape an armed enemy camp, so I'd be tempted to let it slide. There's the clear danger of violence, and he's already committed to a violent course and gotten conflict for it, so it doesn't make sense to keep dinging him for every stormtrooper he runs into.

Thanks guys. I had a guy feeling there where reasons not to hand out conflict, but I couldn't put my finger on it.

For the rest of the party, your in a hangar of the ISD, what would you like to be doing?

Hmm...What happens next~

I Queg opening the no unguarded door straight away?

Uh. I activate Sense.

Come on Sense. Work with me : 1eF 1 Dark Side

Never mind. I don't activate it. Instead, I open the door with my bow at the ready.
