The Shadows Mark OOC

Wow! You rolled 2 success on 7 dice... Amazing!

I'll IC in a moment.

So I want to spend the despair to give Queg a point of conflict, as the Fear grips him. The failure will be that he makes noise... But 4 advantage is a lot, do you have some kind of creative way of using them? That's almost Triumph level of luck.

Gotcha. Maybe he finds a decent quality weapon in the detritus, and the weapon instills some weak confidence, giving him a boost as well on his next check.

So a splintered bone the size of a Wookiee's leg? An ancient rusty sword? A well maintained combat knife?

Or this? http://swrpg.viluppo.net/equipment/weapons/210/

*snort* Ooo. That last one. Because overkill, why not. Also, gunnery uses an ability score I actually puts points in

Just remember it's a cumbersome 3 weapon (auto upgrade if my memory serves me right), Queg doesn't think it's fully loaded but in this dark it's hard to know just how many shells are left. You can IC him finding it loudly if you want.

Hmm...nah. I'll leave that to you since I assume the creature wakes up

OK, sorry I've been out of it the past several days. I had some fairly serious and unexpected personal matters that needed my full attention, but everything is working out and I'll be able to get back to the game.
I'm going to read the IC and OOC threads to get caught up and go from there.
Again, my apologies for leaving people hanging.

It's an increase to the difficulty, not an upgrade (EOTE CRB pg. 156).

Larik's plan, before I went AWOL, was to try to convince the Imperials to assault the mine/base where the other Krogan are being held as slaves and using the battle between the Krogan slavers and Imperial as a distraction to get the slaves out.

We can probably still try for it, maybe suggesting when we get on site and seeing the amount of damage that assaulting that facility is necessary to get the supplies needed to make the repairs.

To be clear, Larik has zero intention of giving the Imperial the Krogan runts.

Let's have a Coordination check for Queg to dive out of the way, DDC, with an S for the cannon in his hands.

WHAT THE FRELL IS THAT (do Krayt dragons breathe fire? Also, HOW THE HECK DID THE IMPERIALS FIND A KRAYT DRAGON!??!?)

*passes out*

WHAT THE FRELL IS THAT (Coordination) : 4eA+1eP+2eD+1eC+1eS 0 successes, 3 advantage
I hate Orokos...

(do Krayt dragons breathe fire? Also, HOW THE HECK DID THE IMPERIALS FIND A KRAYT DRAGON!??!?)

Well, you know, they're cute when they're little, and they seem like fun pets. Then they grow up and get unruly and start eating everyone and you have to flush them into an unused banquet hall.

Hehehehe. Hahahaha. MUWAHAHAHAH!!!

8 damage (your currently have 0 wounds) before soak, Burn 2. 3 Advantage for you to spend on fun.

Oh gooooood.

Do I need to roll initiative or does that even matter?

Can I use the 3 Advantage to negate any defensive bonuses it has?

No initiative

Defence would be a good thing to bypass, It has 3... And Adversary 3 :o

And I assume its silhouette is 3? Does that decrease the difficulty to attack it any?

As soon as the flame dissipate the room is plunged into black, the only light source being Quegs burning clothes.

Sil 4 actually, so yes it does

I attack with the missile launcher. What's my difficulty after negating defense with the Advantages?

Average, 3 Upgrdes. Plus any bonus from earlier rolls, aiming etc.

DCC. I'll aim and upgrade my check with a DP

Kill it with missiles!!1 : 4eA+1eP+1eB+1eD+2eC 1 success, 2 advantage, 1 Triumph, 1 Despair
ahahahahahahaahahahaha
Wow. Then He'll take Strain to maneuver

Spend the 2 Advantage to crit.

critical : 1d100 100

*GASP*

So vicious 3 makes that a 130 which is Gruesome Injury

Wowsers.

So it takes 11 damage, what's Gruesome Injury do? AFB.

Then there is a Triumph and a Despair to use. I'm tempted to run you out of Ammo, but I think playing on the Fear aspect is more interesting. Those wounds only effected a small area of the beast, and even though the injury is bad it barely effects the beast, that fact that a massive hit from an anti tank weapon hardly slowed it down would be messing with Quegs head big time... 1 more Conflict. But I'm willing to let you attempt another Fear check at a lower difficulty with that triumph if you would like. Otherwise increase the Crit by 10, or create something in the scene to help the poor little sod.

I'll take the extra conflict. Gruesome Injury permanently decreases one of its ability scores by 1 to a minimum of 1. I'm supposed to roll a d10 to determine the ability score. If the triumph can be spent to increase that critical to 140, it starts to take 1 wound and 1 strain at the beginning of each of its turns, then every 5 wounds beyond its threshold, it suffers an additional critical injury
