I will be playing Kemenril, a Gotal Sentinel (Shadow).

(Sheet and background to come.)

I will be playing Saladin , wandering vigilante do gooder vigilante Zabrak Guardian Warden/Peacekeeper.

Larik Desh, human Mystic Advisor/Makashi duelist. Tomorrow I'll have a link to my sheet active and post my background.

[These are not the droids you're looking for.]

I'm building my Weequay Enforcer/Force Sensitive Exile. Hope that's okay.

Not sure what to spend 7000+ remaining credits on...what will we need?

Happy to go Consular/Healer if we need one and you want to stick with F&D.

I've created a Gand Consular Sage named Naught. Still need to spend my credits, but that will have to come after I get some sleep.

I got WW-413 , a Scout Trooper turned Fugitive when his Inquisitor discovered he was force sensitive and has been on Vendaxa (Where we will be starting off on a Acklay hunt) hiding ever since. On an Acklay hunt he approached the mother of a young Acklay, who was supposedly the one to destroy a mans Nerf farm. However the Force was with this particular Acklay and gave it a smidgen of Sentience and was given a Prophesy about a Humanoid In White (More on that later) and that she was to train him in the ways of the Force (Basically giving us a mentor so that our force abilities cost 5 XP less). He soon formed a bond with her young son.To satisfy the Nerf Herder he killed an unrelated Acklay and brought it back to him. The game will start with him entering the towns bar.

Room for one more,I hope?

Note: I will most likely play a Kaminoan(from the home brew thread) Armorer if i can play.

Of course we have room for one more.

Found the homebrew thread and here are the stats: Kaminoan

Wound Threshold: 8+Brawn

Strain Threshold: 12+Willpower

Brawn: 1

Agility: 2

Intellect: 3

Cunning: 3

Willpower: 2

Presence: 1

All Kaminoans must choose a caste during character creation.

  • Grey-Eyed Kaminoans generally perform administrative tasks, and begin with one free rank in Leadership.
  • Yellow-Eyed Kaminoans generally work in skilled professions and begin with one free rank in either Mechanics or Computers.
  • Blue-Eyed Kaminoans are generally relegated to physical labor, and begin with one free rank in Athletics or Coordination.
  • Green-Eyed Kaminoans social outcasts, often exterminated shortly after birth. Those who survive on the fringes of Kaminoan society begin the game with one rank in any two non-career skill, but take a Setback.png during social interactions with other Kaminoans.

Emotionless. Most Kaminoans lack emotion and have a difficult time making interpersonal connections, taking Setback.png on Charm, Coercion, Deception, and Negotiation checks made against non-Kaminoans. A player may choose to remove this penalty by spending 10XP at character creation.

Starting XP: 90

Room for one more,I hope?

Thanks. can I craft armour from keeping the peace @ character creation?

Forgot about Weequay from the Dangerous Covenants book:

Wound Threshold: 10+Brawn

Strain Threshold: 9+Willpower

Starting XP: 90

Brawn: 3

Agility: 2

Intellect: 1

Cunning: 3

Willpower: 2

Presence: 1

Special abilities: Weequay start with a rank in either Resilience or Athletics. They can communicate with other Weequay within short range through pheromones.

That Mentor resource will be a great help to Naught. I've modified her character sheet to take the XP discount into account and to spend my credits on gear. I sprung for a Superior attachment on my armor, but I can nix that if it turns out we need a lot of extra credits for something.

The XP Discount, as per the book, is after character creation. You might want a speeder bike if you don't want to rent one.

Does that mean it is also after spending the XP for starting at Knight level? Duly noted on the speeder bike.

Looks like you're getting pretty full, but if +1 is not an issue, let me know, and I'll see if I can fill the gap (someone said a mechanic/pilot was needed?)

Alrighty, here is Larik's sheet . After playing a pilot and a bounty hunter, having a low-agility character is kind of scary, I have to be honest. Haha

I don't have enough credits to buy a speeder, so I'll just plan on renting one.

Back story is on the sheet, but here it is as well. I kind of took my lead from WW-413's stuff at the end. It was thrown together rather quickly so it's not my best writing.

Larik Desh wasn’t born Larik Desh. That’s the name his parents, former Jedi, gave him to keep him safe after the outbreak of the Clone Wars. Growing disillusionment with the council and its direction led them to leave the order with his father Varis Ornbridge exiting first, about 3 years after the invasion of Naboo. Sarli Espar followed him soon after and the two finally were able to be together as more than friends, something they’d both wanted for almost as long they’d known each other.

A couple of years later their only child, Seifer, was born. The young family was very happy for the two years prior to the start of the Clone Wars and remained so after they settled on Espar, an outer rim planet in the Council of Neutral systems. Sarli and Varis chose to sit out the war, change their identities, and run a successful trading post, keeping their Jedi past quiet.

The youngster, ignorant to his latent powers, had as normal an upbringing as possible during the galactic conflict. He learned negotiations from his father, the power of a kind word and a smile from his mother, and the love of gambling from his friends. However, on his 13th birthday, 5 years after the Jedi purge, Larik received a most unusual gift. The black metal tube was wrapped in leather with a few dials and a single button he guessed correctly it was a power switch. Holding the opening away from himself he pressed the button and an orange beam sprung from within, humming. In the quiet of their home with all the shades drawn, his parents explained to him his heritage and how vitally important it was he never reveal his powers, despite their intentions to show him how to defend himself.

“Your father and I are giving this to you, but we hope you never have to use it,” Sarli said. “I will train you in the ways of the force and how to use this weapon, but understand you are not going to be a Jedi. We are no longer Jedi. We believe in the living Force and that is enough.

“Padawan. Knight. Master. They’re simply titles given by a group that was too blind to see its own destruction coming.”

The boy was a quick study with the lightsaber, eventually surpassing even his mother’s skills. Other Force sensitivity was, to be kind, a work in progress. He had a way with people, but that was likely more a product of being raised by two loving parents than any Force connection.

The three had a good life despite the dark times of an ascendant Empire. Sarli and Varis’s business turned a steady profit but was kept small enough to be somewhat sheltered from Imperial interference. Their son's position as chief of staff for the district’s vice mayor, Larik's best friend since childhood, helped keep it that way. But when Varis heard news the Emperor dissolved the Senate he began preparing himself for a frank discussion with Sarli. When Alderaan was destroyed they eventually, agreed the time for neutrality was over.

“Son, we’ve been hiding your entire life, avoiding the obvious, the difficult” Varis said. “We’re too old to fight, but you’re not. Evil has spread to every corner of this galaxy. We should’ve tried doing something about it long before now. I … we, know how unfair-”

“Dad, stop. I know. This has gone too far. You and mom weren’t wrong to do what you did. You did it to protect me, to protect our little family and you have no idea how grateful I am for it, but even before this talk I’d already made plans to leave. Maybe now that I have your blessing to go, you can at least give me some direction as to where I should start.”

Sarli meditated on that and had a vision of a woman in white. Less than a week later he was bound for Vendaxa with only the vaguest of clues as to his next steps.

If there's still room, I have a Guardian Armorer/Soresu Defender I'd like to play, though I saw there were others already looking to cover that niche. If you are interested in looking over the character, I've posted him here . If he can't start with his own self-built armor and lightsaber, I can drop the reinforced armor and one stimpack to start him with Heavy Clothing. If he can start with a single mod on the crystal already (per the rules in the GM's Kit), he will use it to reduce the critical rating by 1.

Still gearing and doing backstory, but here is Kemenril so far.

It ain't +6 damage for your lightsaber, it's just 6 damage.

Oops, sorry, my bad. Still getting used to that sheet system.

Yeah, you don't get the bonus till we start playing.
