Well I didn't give conflict for stabbing the guy so yeah it was playing on the idea of inflicting undue pain. You could have tried knocking the guy out, but leaving him pinned to the door grain as his hand heals itself around the knife is quite hilarious. He knows it's not hurting now, is confused as hell, and if he tries pulling the thing out it's going to be excruciating.
