Questions on the social combat stuff: So did we strain out the commander/admiral guy? If so are we out of initiative and does that humungous amount of strain just stick with me and I have to bring it down the normal ways?
The Shadows Mark OOC
Yes you strained out one of the officers, but the other one still has plenty left in the tank.
After the encounter it will go back down, it's more a track of how committed you are to the negotiating.
Should I make Queg's initiative check?
Yep, Cool, but only so when more Imps appear they can slot in around him, im about to IC.
Queg's Initiative : 2eA 3 successes
Lalam is subconsciously sooooo looking forward to Enhance Leap...
But maybe as a last ditch social attempt, Lalam could try to Coerce this mountain man, something like "Hey! I keep these Krogan in line, and they will only listen to *ME*. They owe me big-time. So you want them, you come through us. Or...you can try to come through us..."
Just to clarify (again), I'm not try to jump turns, if we're past the point of no return Lalam will resume his silent glowering. Also, I don't really understand how you're running social combat, and not to meta-game it too much, but I'd hope to apply the Coercion where it is the most effective.
I think it's appropriate for Lalam to start doing that kind of thing. Also, I forgot to add the 2 advantage to my check from Lalam's loom, so I'm going to use my 1 net advantage to reduce a point of strain.
ok. i haven't had time, but need to roll Felix's Coercion roll, then its PC turn
But I don't believe we've had two PC slots go yet. Larik went in slot one. No one else has gone yet, I don't think. Unless Lalam's activating enhance was slot two, however it seemed like it was up in the air whether he was doing that or coercing Felix. Whafrog, what did you want to do?
Yes very true. I made an assumption, sorry. Lalam or Naught may act first, ill hold the roll post util after, although ill keep the results i already have.
Ok, I'll Coerce with the comment above, I'm assuming from scanning back in the thread the difficulty is DDC? However, I'm going to use Intimidating to downgrade the difficulty to DDD, and hope nobody minds, but I'll spend a DP because I think we need it, so that should be PPPDDD. Then I'll Aim twice...oh, wait, not applicable...
Hmm...
My Krogan...Mine! : 3eP+2eD 1 success
short 1 D there
cross fingers its not a Failure

the autofill is annoying as hell on orokos for the dice rolls.
It could be worse, this could have been your roll:
Dare I suggest that Despair might indicate that the commander does not take kindly to this insubordination?
I was going to suggest he accidentally farts mid sentence making him far less intimidating, but pissing off the commander is probably more thematically appropriate.
I like the fart one, but the insubordination of command is better. I'll IC in a couple of hours
Queg has a short window to prepare in while the Imperials are stunned, before they inevitably regain composure.
Can I use Sense's ongoing effect to upgrade the difficulties of attacks against the AT-ST while Queg is driving, or can it only be used for attacks against Queg himself?
Before FaD came out I would have said yes, but the Starfighter Ace has a specific talent for that, so unfortunately no I can't let you do that... Somebody may still choose to aim at the driver rather than destroy valuable military hardware though
well then. Queg will activate Sense...and he might call the others on the comms
Pfft. Well-oiled machine, my left foot. Everyone know Imperial Stormtroopers are bumblers!
So, to be clear, Queg's line of sight is limited by the viewports on the front of the AT-ST?
Pretty much, that was a bit of creative flair, but it makes sense for it to be hard to see humanoids below and behind it, unless you're making an effort (maneuver) to actually look out the window. Unless I'm missing something obvious from Cannon/Legends.
