Bedding down seems like a good idea, but 3am would probably catch any Imperials by surprise too...
The Shadows Mark OOC
If they don't arrive until 3 AM, Queg is going to try getting some sleep, depending on what that Despair does.
So Queg has at least 5 hours before the rest arive. If they stop for the night then it will be even more.
I'm going to be busy for a few hours, I'll post later before you guys wake up.
I vote for resting. Anything we try to do after that kind of grueling trek will be hampered by fatigue I fear. Besides, friendly traders like us wouldn't be coming around in the middle of the night...
Queg needs a hell of a lot of sleep to offset the strain he's taken from this trip
Edited by ProphytSo is it 8 p.m. when we're arriving after taking the break? If so, should we consider holing up yet again and try greeting them in the morning? What's our plan for interacting with them?
No sorry, Queg got to the ISD at 8pm, you guys have a choice of pushing on and getting there around 3am, or stopping for a break and continuing on in the morning.
Got it.
In that case my vote to camp and set out again in the morning still stands. Kaigen, Whafrog?
Let me know roughly what time you make camp too, that way Prophyt knows how long he has for his murder spree in the morning!
Prophyt what do you plan on doing first thing in the morning?
Does Queg regain any Strain from the night?
Yes, normal Simple difficulty recovery roll, with 2 Setback... It looks nice and warm in that hanger over there, but it sure isn't here!
The rest of you have a bit more gear, if your stopping early for the night and have any sort of camping gear then you can ignore the Setback.
Does Queg want the others to pick up his speeder bike on the way? Or are you happy to leave it and pick it up on the way back?
I want to get through the ISD encounter before ending this current session, it's been a bit slow I know but we haven't actually done much yet. Sound good to everyone?
That works.
And honestly it only feels slow because we started the session with the most epic low speed chase in RPG history.
Do we all benefit from Naught's wilderness survival Kit when we set up camp?
Honestly I'm not sure. I doubt it includes an all weather 15 person tent, but the Krogan can probably make do with the truck. I think Lalam is well equipped too so he probably won't need anything, which just leaves you... getting cozy with a Gand!
If you guys do stop then what's the plan for setting a watch?

I'm fine with picking it up on the way back, unless they find it and decide to pick it up themselves.
So that's Discipline or Cool?
Can we look for a shelter of some sort? I'd guess we'd do watch of four shifts 2 or 3 of us watching for 90 minutes. Sound OK to everyone?
It's usually your choice between Discipline and Cool, at least that's how i have always played it.

And it's not a murder spree. Killing Imperial soldiers/officers is for the greater good.
Queg want's to wake with the sun and attempt to watch guard rotations through the scope of his rifle, then take out forward picket positions when he hears his companions approaching

Just keep telling yourself that!

Besides, if it were murder, Queg would accrue 10+ conflict for each kill
Who says he won't...
Resting for the night does seem like the best course of action. The wilderness survival kit doesn't have any kind of tent in it, but there's probably an abandoned building nearby that isn't completely leaky.
Let's do a watch rotation that includes us and a few of the Krogan.
Yeah, I didn't make it clear above, but I was thinking one PC and a couple of Krogan per watch.
