I believe i suggested piloting Planetary, isn't Queg a AAAAA in that? you had said you where basically going as fast as you could on the bike hence the high risk, even if actually getting there isn't that hard.

Well you guys have decent XP, I've got to make it interesting. Also I very rarely require success for the story to proceed, I ask for the cinematic rolls, not the "did you get your lunch" roll.

I didn't think expert tracker specified a Skill, it only specifies tracking a target or following a trail, that could be Survival, Streetwise, Astrogation, or in this case while your piloting, its very situational but flexible. Am i off the reservation here? i probably should drag my books out and check the full talent description

My thoughts on the checks are Larik takes perception, Krogan do the skulduggery and Naught takes the navigation. We've all got fairly rough odds, but it looks like the most likely combination for success. Thoughts Kaigen?

remove 1 setback die per rank in Expert Tracker from checks to find or follow tracks, or Survival checks to track targets take 50% less time than normal.

I think that acquits Richard's interpretation. It doesn't specify a skill to be used with it. In the AOR home game I run I let the Sharpshooter make a ranged heavy check to determine a distance and let him use his true aim talent to upgrade the check. I figure there's a case to be made that a sniper would be able to tell distances using his scoped rifle. Sometimes you have to think outside the box on stuff.

New plan: Krogan can navigate, Larik still does perception, Naught Skulduggs. The 3 boost hopefully will help even though Naught's untrained in Skullduggery.

Would like to do the honours of rolling for Larak and the Krogans as well. one of the three rolls can get a Boost from the second group of Minions assisting too.

Yep thats reasonable. So the failure will result in the drive being slow, getting lost a couple of times and having to double back, you do ultimately make progress towards the ISD, since its not hard to see the direction you need to go, but its nothing like a direct path there. So it will slow your trip by a couple of hours. Lalam will probably be twiddling his thumbs waiting for you.

On a side not you spot a dark cat in the distance trailing you, multiple times...

That triumph needs spending too, could be scene changing? or something else, perhaps a fortuitous find?
