Alright take a setback for the next couple of actions as your a bit drunk, and a Strain for the threat.
The Shadows Mark OOC
honestly i set you up for it! but its all in the name of a fun story.
Prophyt and Kaigen did you guys want to do anything in particular? Scouting? getting more information out of the Krogan in the truck?
In general do all you guys have a plan for this? Dealing with the slavers I mean. Currently it's getting into the afternoon so you will need to make plans for the night some time, but also come up with some personal and equipment for this assault.
Eesh...uhm. Queg, while devoted to justice, isn't keen on assaulting a stronghold. Given how poorly rescuing 3 Krogan went, he thinks it might be in everyone's best interests to let this one go...besides, ooc, the portion of the party hired directly by the Shadow Broker hasn't even made contact yet
In for a penny in for a pound, Shooty McShootface.
Larik suggested avoiding this entirely, but when we know there are slaves involved and innocents being taken from their families, there's no way he's going to let that go.
And how do we know the Sahdow Broker isn't at the compound? Larik isn't exactly certain the broker is a good guy (gal)...
Now that we know where they were taken, there doesn't seem to be a point in continuing to look for clues. Naught is at a loss for how to approach breaching a fortified base, though.
Did Lalam see or report back seeing any anti-aerial weaponry?
And how far away are we from the ship? And the fighter that's connected to the ship?
Larik may have a terrible, horrible, conflict-ridden plan.
There are aerial defences, currently offline (apparently).
Yeah, OK. I reread that and see it now. Missed it the first time.
You could get back to the ship within 12 hours, dangerous at night but doable.
The locals could know a faster way, or have ideas on the base too.
In that case Larik would like to try talking to some of the locals to get their thoughts on the base and if they think an aerial assault or other plan might work better.
Lyka directed him to one or two, yeah? Possibly taking the bottle with to lubricate their gears a bit, perhaps?
That sounds good, there are still a few here that where in the truck and need to get home as well. Talking to them will be Average with a boost for drinking with them
But also that setback for being a little drunk
I feel like I can use charm for this one.
Chatting (and boozing) up some Krogan : 2eA+2eP+1eB+2eD+1eS 3 successes
That seems pretty good.
So these guys are much more helpful, the efforts you guys went to to save them from slavery is paying off. Between them they know of around 50 families within about a days ride of here, everyone has basic equipment, but nothing worthwhile beyond carbines and pistols. one also gets a bit excited and also mentions the Star Destroyer that crashed about a week ago during the Imperial battle could have useful equipment.
I'll try to IC but busy Sunday arvo, so you could put one up embellishing that info.
Yeah, well, it's Saturday night here, so we'll see who gets the post up first. Haha
Should I stay perched and watching, or should I return to join the SD scavenger hunt?
It's totally up to you. If any imperials survived the crash it might be a good idea to have a full party, but whatever you want to do is cool with me.
I'm just not sure of the timing. More a question for Richard: I'm "a few hours away" so is it better to return, or try to meet at the SD, or bed down for the night and meet up in the morning?
General question, I don't recall seeing it (and I don't have the heart to go through 100 pages again)...are the Krogan a unique species or some form of near-human? Can we pass as one?
Edited by whafrogHave you ever played Mass Effect, whafrog? the Krogan are those hunched over frog/lizard people.
I'll find an image soon for you.
If Lalam wants to stay where he is for the night he may learn things, but may also be at a bit of a risk. There is enough time in the day to get back, could be risky too!
Lalam will stay put, hiding as best as possible, parking the speeder to make a quick exit if necessary.

I haven't, but I can look it up.
OK. Kaigen, what are your thoughts on sifting through the downed ISD?
