Queg thinks Lalam is too hot headed. He wants to take the time to properly investigate the scene
The Shadows Mark OOC
Right; Lalams difficulty to track the vehicle will be Easy, but upgraded for his haste, and 2 setback for the ruined state of the roads and the way that slows you down.
Queg and Naught looking more in depth for clues should make a Hard check Upgraded for the angry female Krogan tramping around her house, 1 Setback for your limited time but also a Boost for Lalams trail of dust cloud.
Larik talking to Lyka to ask about the locals will be Average with 2 Setback for her emotional state.
Okay. So Expert Tracker will remove the setback to find a proper trail outside the home.
Am I rolling Charm?
That would depend on the way in which you speak to her. Are you trying to be charming? Or is this more negotiations? or perhaps you're trying to show some leadership? Really I'm happy with any of them it just changes the way that you communicate and her way of responding
Okay. So Expert Tracker will remove the setback to find a proper trail outside the home.
Finding Kroganlings : 2eP+1eB+2eD+1eC 0 successes, 1 advantage
Well darn.
Spend the advantage to give another Boost to Naught's check
Well, not much to say about that.
Yeah, it was a bit of a bomb roll
We could just scout ahead a bit, let Larik try to get some recruits...unless Loom would come in handy (2A) for any Charm or Negotiation.
Eh, you're scouting. I'll do the roll without the boost and post IC tomorrow morning.
While charm would give me better odds, realistically this seems more like a leadership thing.
Ideas for using my advantage?
No idea
sorry
So Larik is following Lyka around, trying to get her to calm down, perhaps the advantage could be she points to one of the other Krogan and says "Ask him, he knows more of the Runts around here than i do." A knowledge Xenology check to figure out a food or drink or something to offer her to calm down too could work; Average, 2 Setback for her continued stomping and cursing.
Meanwhile, Queg and Naught are looking for clues, and not finding much themselves. after a few minutes they give up, needing to make a decision on what to do next.
But first Lalam has a land speeder to chase, or at least track. Perception or Streetwise check; Easy, Upgraded once for a Destiny Point, 2 setback for the speed they are traveling and thus the speed you need to maintain to keep up. CSS
Huh, not bad:
Chasing phantoms : 1eP+2eA+1eB+1eC+2eS 2 successes, 1 advantage
Note, I'm not trying to engage, just follow
Nice, so you keep your distance, but don't let them slip away. They travel for a few hours through the twisted streets, eventually stopping at some kind of fortified building, a large gate opens and the land speeder disappears inside.
Should I post that in the IC, or do you want to write it into a post from Lalams perspective?
Flipping a DP so I have any hope at all of something good happening.
I try to find a perch where I can watch. Can I assume I can contact the others? Make a GPS note in my comm-link/iphone/whizzbang/thingy?
Edit: several hours you say? Hmmm...I definitely try to hide.
Edited by whafrogHiding isn't too hard for Lalam, this is an enormous city in ruins after all, depending on how close you want to get and for how long. Communication is fine too
Edited by RichardbuxtonIf Lalam calls to the group via comms, Queg will probably go, since he's got the "sniper rifle"

Lalam, you mean?
bahh yes Lalam of course!
mind you it was even harder when Lama was in the mix as well
Edited by RichardbuxtonPeople in the US must be out enjoying their Friday night. My local group didn't meet tonight, because our GM is visiting his father
How about a bit of a Resilience check to see just how strong that booze is? Seems like a Hard difficulty, with a setback for being under duress. This is NOT to see if he keeps drinking, I'm happy for you to role-play that, its just to see how hard the drink hits. Perhaps take a boost for Lariks previous experience.
When am I going to learn to stop describing myself into trouble?!?
How hard does the booze hit : 2eA+1eB+3eD+1eS 0 successes, 1 threat
That...could've gone a lot worse.
