The Shadows Mark OOC

Right!

floating boost : 1eB 0 successes, 1 advantage

And that would cancel out the threat, so it's just a Success/Triumph!

So the damage is 9 (but Pierce 2) on the driver, and I'm thinking I should crit him with the Triumph:

crit on driver : 1d100 79

Gotta return to work, back in a couple hours, so if something comes up, go ahead and decide for me!

76-80: Overpowered, The target leaves himself open, and the attacker may immediately perform another free attack against him, using the exact same pool as the original attack.

>.< and he's gone

Wait!

You forgot the 2nd boost again

Crap! Really gotta go :(

have fun at work

He slumps over the wheel and instead of a Chris let's have that try and do something funny to the vehicle

well then. XD

Hehe, I love voice to text, it works so well most of the time!

Obviously I'm saying the Triumph can be used to instead have the land speeder crash in some way. Just leaving the 4 minions on your bikes chasing you.

If you want to try some tricky stuff we could probably drop out of initiative now, they can't shoot since their only weapons are rifles and you think it's unlikely they can catch you at this rate.

How twisty are the paths? Is it conceivable we could stop around a bend and set up some sort of wire or rope across the road so we clothesline the four of them as they come screaming up on our bikes?

yes, that would be a great way to stop them. Just imagine your in a Bourne movie, or The Italian job (Original of course), in a dense european city, but everything is blown up like Saving Private Ryan... theres cross roads, alleys, roundabouts, and the occasional piece of classic music playing on an old record player.

that particular trick could be achieved a few ways, Survival, Streetwise, Xenology, Mechanics, Perception. but you tell me the skill and ill figure out a difficulty for it.

THIS song is the one playing for whatever reason

Who has the highest Cunning? Queg has 2 ranks in Survival

lol. perfect.

I mean sure, I'm crossing like 8 streams with that one, but it's appropriate

OK, let me give it some thought. I'll come up with my idea on a little bit. I'm of course open to suggestions from the team here as well.

Larik has 3 Cunning, as does Lalam.

I was thinking Streetwise, but it seems appropriate for Larik and Queg to work together to get the bikes back. Since it's all Queg's fault anyway. LOL

between the 4 of you:

Brawn 4; Lalam with enhance

Agility 5; Queg

Intellect 3; Naught

Cunning 3; Larik & Lalam

Willpower 4; Naught

Presence 4; Larik

Well, Queg would have to expend his turn bringing the truck to a stop anyway.

We'd probably have to spend DP to say we have wire or cables to clothesline the Krogan, unless someone happens to have suitable materials in their backpack already.

Alternatively, we could set up some sort of a choke point utilizing Naught's Move to create a low hanging wall that could also clothesline the Krogan

Naught's wilderness survival kit has 50 meters of microfiber line and a spool of wire.
