The Shadows Mark OOC

Is Naught getting knock-on Sense from someone else? Because Naught doesn't actually have that force power.

Ahh crap! I was looking at Lariks sheet... Grr. Larik and Qheg both have it active, but I mixed them up :( so that's a much easier attack for them? Short range with a single setback.

That would be the actual difficulty. Which does not bode well for Naught's continued consciousness.

Well do you want to take the last initiative slot before the NPC's act to do something, it's between Naught, Lalam and Qheg

This is prior to the reappearance of the enemies, yes? I'm not sure Naught can do anything useful if she doesn't have a visible target.

IDK, possibly taking up a defensive position?

Dive behind cover

Deep behind cover!

Curiosity. Would a single move laterally bring the minions into view still at close range?

And, how are they shooting without their weapons?

No, the streets are quite narrow, and they are well back from the corner, they need to maneuver to get to the corner themselves

It's the other group who where in the speeder, they circled around you on foot, with their leader

Well, I can't really benefit from cover, as I already have ranged defense 1, but I suppose I could drop prone. Maybe I could spend my action on a Coercion (or would it be Negotiation?) check to convince them this fight is more trouble that it's worth?

Edit: Oh, and are we going to reroll the attack against Naught? I just want to know whether I should put my strain back where it was.

Hmm....okay.

Anything we can spend a Light DP on aside from upgrading your check that would help us? Stun grenades the Krogan i disabled dropped maybe?

There are 2 levels of cover, but prone works too. Communication with them could be tricky due to you yelling at where you "think" they may be and them not fully understanding basic, but you could give it a try.

DP is always an option too, got a few up your sleeve at the moment

Okay, how about this: I'll use Move to form a ring of superior cover (either by piling it up or removing enough from beneath us to make a "foxhole") around Naught and Lalam and then maneuver to take advantage of it. Does that sound reasonable?

If they try to engage they do have to make a Fear check first (1 difficulty).

Lalam's Loom is an incidental as far as I understand it.

If it's my turn, I'll engage the minions

Did you perhaps mean Naught and Queg, since Queg is standing right next to her? Lol

Sorry, I'm all confused about who's where at this point.

Sorry, I'm all confused about who's where at this point.

Queg and Naught are standing in front of the truck at close, the minions moved around a corner to medium (I think), lalam and larik move to medium behind and laterally from us to inspect the land speeder wreck

Hang on let's set the scene:

Around a corner at one end of the scene is a group of 4 minions and their boss.

That corner is where you guys started this whole scene.

Short range from that corner, half way between it and the speeder truck is Quag and Naught.

Engaged with the speeder Truck, and at Medium range from where they started, is Lalam and Larik. There is also a single Krogan out of action on the ground next to the truck.

A further short range down the street is the corner that the other group of minions are hiding behind.

So essentially it's a straight road with you guys and a truck in the middle and enemies at either end.

Several of us are on, so I don't know who's going next. But if it's Lalam, he'll engage the minions at the second corner. Only need one maneuver, right?

The Move idea is a great one. Probably need the strength upgrade triggered, and perhaps the Magnitude to protect both of you.
