happy to have a crack at that, anyone providing assistance? either a boost or if you can beat 3 Cunning or 1 Survival we could do a combined check.
I was about to suggest that with Wale (2 Survival)

sounds good. ill get it done then. just a sec
Good news, we are not lost... but whats the bad news buddy?
Survival to not get lost : 1eA+2eP+3eD 1 success, 2 threat
Edited by RichardbuxtonRoll for initiative.
Vigilance im assuming?
Initiative : 2eP 0 successes, 1 advantage
Yep.
She also increases her defence by 2 for the first round. if that matters.

How do you manage that?
i have the control upgrade for Foresee that requires no pips to activate (its automatic) that grants anyone affected by the power +2 to all defences for the first round... if i had rolled double pips Wale would have it too!
its a seriously awesome upgrade! but very limited obviously.
Ain't doubting that.
2eA : 1 success, 2 advantage [2eA=S/A, A]
Looks like we're all slotted to act before the Krogen. Is it OK if I take the first slot and try to talk us out of this without a fight?
We might be a bit far for proper communication, and the battlefield conditions favor us being able to just book it out of there and hope to lose them. Can we tell how many there are and what kind of vehicles they have to pursue us with?
True, but one of them might be the chief we're looking for, or at least know where he is.
I'm just gonna move to short range, trading my action for a manoeuvre. Unless someone wants to lend me a gun. Also: Killakan, can I change my saber to a lightwhip( Donavan moring fire's blog? Also, then I can switch my Intellect and Agility, and change my form from Ataru to Soresu. Get a few talents.

Sure, what are the stats for the lightwhip?

With a 1 red 2 purple 3 black you can know exactly they are using.
Lightwhip
Rare and exotic even by the standards of lightsabers, the
lightwhip
operated on the same general principles as a more traditional lightsaber, emitting a coherent beam of energy, with the key difference being that the blade was frequently several meters in length and very flexible. Another difference was that the
lightwhip
made use of multiple smaller crystals instead of the single focusing crystal used in the majority of lightsaber hilts.
This weapon can be used to make Lightsaber combat checks against targets at up to short range, although the difficulty of the attack remains at Average.
A lightwhip hilt without a kyber crystal costs 1500 credits, has a Rarity of 8, reduces the damage value of any crystal placed in the hilt by one, and has the Ensnare 1 and Unwieldy 3 qualities; HP: 3;
This gives me some range while allowing me to still be Melee focused.

We're talking a Perception check, I assume? How much of that does my scanning goggles ("allow the user to see normally in dark conditions") negate?

Yes perception, up to 2 may be removed.
Naught doesn't see much of anything: Perception at Scouting Camp : 2eA+1eC+2eD+1eS 2 failures, 1 advantage
The failure doesn't tell you how many, but the advantage can be used to narritive sling a boost die around (Giving someone a heads up on an incoming attack.
Alright, then if no one objects, I'll take the first slot to move us in close enough for Larik to hail the scouts and try to talk them down from attacking us, but I'll be coming in at an angle so I can easily speed off (as opposed to going directly through the center of their camp) if incoming fire gets too heavy.
Khit will be moving Gupgup behind some nearby rubble for some cover, then suffering strain to use Bodyguard on Gupgup (3 strain total), then using the innate Quick draw talent on her blaster rifle and shooting. but only after we know the outcome of negotiations, and before anyone engages in melee.
