Weequay do not group hug. Lalam jumps on his bike, roars the throttle, and heads off into the sunset.
So are you exiting the game or were you joking? I assumed the latter, but tone is hard on the Internet.
He left, he PM'd me.

Ah, sorry, I should have been more clear. Also, now that I see it in retrospect my post seems rude, which was not my intent, so my apologies if it was taken that way. I just thought it would be an amusing "in character" exit.
Maybe it's time for a narrative jump to get us off planet and on our way? Unless you have something else planned that we need to accomplish before heading out on our mission, quest, crusade?

Time for a narrative jump.
Just bumping this back up.
Is there anyone left?
I'm still here, just waiting on things to move forward.
Yep, just waiting for the story to continue forward.
Yep, just waiting for the story to continue forward.
I was waiting for everyone to describe their individual experence.
Sorry, mine was a little brief, more focused on Gup than Ark.
I'm still around. I also was waiting for some further direction after posting Larik's experience.
Ready whenever everyone else is.

Alright! Got the destiny points started on the right foot. haha
I spent 5 XP on a rank of coordination, 5 xp for range upgrade to influence and 15 xp to get a control upgrade allowing me to roll force die and use pips to add successes or advantages to a variety of social checks.
Wait, yeah, I forgot about the mentor discount. How does that work? I'll probably have extra XP to burn.
Mentor provides a 5 XP discount on the cost of buying a new Force power (not upgrades).
Ah, OK, I'll not have leftover XP in that case.
Thanks!

It applies to upgrades to dude.
F&D page 109: "When a Player Character purchases the basic version of a Force power, he may decrease the cost of the basic power by 5 XP. This discount does not apply when purchasing upgrades to Force powers." Now, if you want to house rule that it applies to upgrades as well, don't let me stop you...
That be a house rule there, sonny boy.
Well then, in that case I'll apply 5 XP to buy a Control upgrade for Bind, and 5 XP on another Strength upgrade for Move.
Edit: I'm going to go out on a limb and assume that there's a minimum 5 XP cost for upgrades that only cost 5 XP to begin with.
