Dealing with High Agility Ships and Regenerating Ships

Most of the lists I faced at a recent store championship had one of two things, high agility ships (like Soontir Fel), or shield regenerating ships (like Poe w/ R2-D2). I was brainstorming for ideas on how to combat this. Stress is certainly a proven option. Taking way actions/tokens from aces makes them more vulnerable. Another option I was wondering about was Autoblaster Cannon. It simply makes agility useless, and it makes evade tokens useless too. It is limited to range 1, and this is a big drawback. However this scum Boba build seems like a reasonable application for the Autoblaster Cannon.

You've got PS10 so you are likely moving last (save a few points for the initiative bid against Poe). You've for Engine Upgrade so you can boost into range 1. And you have Boba's ability granting re-rolls. Glitterstim just seems to fit as well.

You can finish this list out in a number of ways. Most likely two TLT Thugs, or an IG-88B. Does anyone have any experience with a build such as this?

TLT thug costs 25 with unhinged, So u take ion or lower Bobas price.

Talonbane Cobra (Crack Shot, Glitterstim) - 31 points

N'Dru Suhlak (Lone Wolf) - 19 points

but yes, Syndicate Thug (Twin Laser Turret, Unhinged Astromech) - 25 points x 2 could be fun too.

Sablegryphon's list would serve you well:

Boba w/ VI, tactician, glitter, engine & seismic = 50

IG88B w/ crackshot, FCS, HLC, autothrusters & glitter = 50

If you want y-wings, drop the seismics off of Boba, drop IG and take two thugs w/ TLT & R4 agromechs.

Honestly, autoblaster is crap. Boba's primary 4 dice shot combined with his ability and possibly focus or glitterstim will do more damage typically...

For PTL arc-dodgers, you need PS and stress. For regen, you need alpha strike and stress.

Start by giving Boba Tactician. It's by far the best value crew and solidifies his role as an ace hunter.

It's amazing on Firesprays and has twice as much coverage as any other ship other than the YV-666.

For the alpha strike, I've been running Scum Boba [VI, EU, Tactician, Glitterstim, Cluster Missiles]. Rush into R1 with Glitter and re-rolls to put a serious dent into any regen ship. You can also use it to double-tap for 2 stress with Tactician.

Very solid well rounded build. I took 7 hull from RAC the first time I flew this build and wrecked poe with it many times as well. Really the only issue is R3 rerolls but boba never liked that band anyway.
