Rieekan Question

By ryanabt, in Star Wars: Armada Rules Questions

Sorry if this has already been asked and answered.

If I take Rieekan and my ship has 5 hull. I lose 5 hull at the beginning of a turn, but my opponent puts no more damage on my ship. I activate that ship last and use engineering to bring a hull back. Is my ship destroyed? It says it is "treated as if it is not destroyed until the end of the Status Phase."

Does this mean that if it was destroyed at any point, it will be treated as destroyed at the end of the Status Phase? Or does it mean that it is destroyed only if it has no hull remaining at the end of the Status Phase?

I assume the first, but I am just checking.

Its Destroyed. It will be Destroyed at the end of the Status Phase.

Even if you repair every bit of Hull, it will be Destroyed at the end of the Status Phase.

There is no Endless Zombie Rieekans :)

Yes if you have a repair command or token use them before you are destroyed. After being destroyed they become almost useless, though you can repair a face up damage card to avoid its negative effects at least for the remainder of the turn.

Just for the record, you're not the only person who has wondered this. It was FAQ'd in the latest revision, before which we had many extensive "discussions" about it in my local group. Mostly with the Rebels saying you could bring the zombies back to life and the Imperials saying you couldn't. ;)

I really wanted zombie ships too. . .
