It is totally OK if someone playing this game has not read the books and does not diminish their value as a community member in any respect.
The only problem I have with Dernhelm is that it will be like the early days with Eowyn and Glorfindel now - the card will be in every deck. (Unless they do a stat mod.)

Some dude on CGDB said the expansion is available on Amazon. Spoilers should come pretty soon. C'mon Narya!
Lanwyn: Oh my.. is this card serious ? This card is the business! I just saw it today. It is going to open up so many more options for spirit. This is like, a big deal guys. This is the only spirit hero with the Ranged keyword!!!! Somebody get that girl an Elf Friend so she can be Fair and Perilous.
I'm just going to leave this here. My friend posted the picture, so I don't have any others for you.
Oh hey, my custom Narya that I did for the TftC Ring-maker contest wasn't too far off ( https://wardenofarnor.files.wordpress.com/2016/01/narya-front-face.jpg if anyone's curious).
Super excited. There are so many possibilities.
Man. History in the making. Now we have an attachment that attaches to two specific names instead of just one

Spooky...
Narya is cool and all, but it is yet another card that screams action advantage.
UC anyone?
Narya gives repeatable action advantage and Stat boosting for only 2. The biggest cost is exhausting an extremely powerful hero. There is also a slight setup problem because you need 2 allies in play that are actually worth the ready effect. However, my prediction is that Narya will trivialize many quests. I believe, for instance, that the dreaded Carn Dum will be much easier with Narya.
Questions to ponder: Will the best use of Narya be playing it on OHUH Gandalf so that he can ready and boost himself? If he does that will he be a leadership ally? If he does indeed belong to the leadership sphere at that point, can you play Sword Thain on him to make him a hero?
I'm eager to see what else... x_x

I don't see why not. OHaUH Gandalf is a good use because you don't have to use a high threat hero action, and he will naturally be the best target. I like how it can work across the table too.
I am excited for the future when we eventually get a Cirdan ally.

I think we know who designed that card...
Great card ! I like to ready Ents !

Heck yes! Though, if you use Sword Thain, you lose the ability to use it to ready himself back up. I soooo have some ideas for a deck...

Another good one, though your then exhausting Gandalf or Cirdan for that... May not always be worth it.
There are quite a lot of uses for it. I'm going to enjoy Sneak Attack Beorn and attacking for 8 twice

In case of Gandalf, you're exhausting 3wp/3atk/3def to ready two 2wp/2atk/2def and turn them into the two 2wp/3atk/3def guys. So, you gain either way, though slightly less for wp (only +1wp), but pretty **** good in atk and def (both +3). In case of Cirdan, you gain nothing in terms of wp, but you gain +4 for both atk and def.

I was hoping there wouldn't be some great Noldor cards so I could ignore this cycle.
