Deci+title+expose+Experimental interface

By Rickfree23, in X-Wing Rules Questions

So I have a question about this. Let's say you bump into another ship on movement and the title triggers so you take the target lock or focus. Then because you took that action does that allow you to also trigger experimental interface to take the expose action?

Yes, it works just like that--although after you resolve your action from Experimental Interface, you take a stress token from EI and another token from the Dauntless title.

You can't perform free actions when you have a stress token, so I don't see how you'd be able to do EI's free action after getting the stress token from the title's free action.

Because it fits into the stack the same way that PTL would - EI is triggered off the action - Target Lock - and happens immediately, then its stress and Dauntless' happen afterwards.

SO it goes

Bump

>Dauntless triggers

>TL

>>EI Triggers

>>Expose

>>EI Stress

>Dauntless stress

To expound a little...

All the 'after you perform an action... gain a stress' type cards like EI, PtL, Dauntless, ect... The trigger for them is after you perform an action. That means you can interrupt the 'gain a stress' part to do whatever the trigger allows you to do.

That means you can actually chain them together and get all the stress tokens after a number of free actions.

So you could do the following...

Bump

Dauntless triggers

*action*

Push the Limit triggers

*action*

EI triggers

*action*

Stress from Dauntless

Stress from PtL

Stress from EI.

Dammit, I KNEW that, don't know why it wasn't sinking in when I looked at this...
