I ran the 40 point Guri build of Predator, Title, Sensor Jammer, and Authothrusters with 3x Kihraxz to a winter tournament victory... I had switched it up from Lone Wolf and ID...

Predator makes a world of difference for offense in the 'stress meta' and allows me to fly with my Kihraxzs and focus fire pretty heavily. Usually Guri is such a deterrence (poor target) because of the defense that she gets left alone, but the Kihraxz can put on some hurt before going down while Guri has free reign. There was one game where my opponent focused Guri down first with his 7x TIE swarm but not before he lost Howlrunner and 3 Academies...the Kihraxzs finished up Scourge, and the other two.

I have also used her mid PS to block aces and also hunt down stress hogs...her damage output is very high, even while stressed due to Predator and her pilot ability.

For Xizor, I would run him with Predator Autothrusters along side a few Zs or an unhinged ICT Y-Wing.

Make sure Palob sticks close to Guri so she can pull the focus/evade tokens off of Guri's target and then also remove Guri's stress when Opportunist triggers.

I'm afraid Wingman triggers at the beginning of Combat phase, at this point Guri is stressless, so you can only clear stress from Cobra's Glitterstim, Kturn\Sloop stress or PTLstress (if you had it)

You're right, sorry. I meant you can clear her stress on the following combat phase after you trigger Opportunist.

But yeah, taking the stress off immediately after performing a red move or any other stress causing action is still very handy.

Cobra loves having Palob with ion+wingman+tactician as his wingman.

S&V style, although I had points problems, so no AT for guri, and list suffers from TLT and PWTs greatly

Nice observation! I've been thinking of giving Palob a Ion turret instead of TLT for more control advantages. It would also free up a point so Guri can take Inertial Dampeners

well, the main thing here is that cobra WILL get into melee, and you'll have to drag on to provide R1-2 Wingman, your own area is 1-2, and guess what? Ion is 1-2 as well xD

so the best position is 1-2 bases behind Cobra, although it proves diffucult with HWKs dial being the worst amongst small ships EVER

That's my Guri list as well. Lots of red dice a hard to kill Guri and pretty large number of Hull to work through.

Cloaking device: yes, if you have points to spare. SPA: no. Not nearly as good as having autothrusters.

I played three games against a friend and his Viper last weekend. He had Virago, Advanced Sensors, PTL and Cloaking Device on her. It was a pain in the butt trying to catch that elusive SOB.

If you are only flying Guri, give her the Virago title, Autothrusters and Sensor Jammer. The big question is what to do with the EPT. Lots of people like Predator.

If you are Xizor, you give him the Virago title, Autothrusters, Veteran Instincts and Fire Control Systems... and feel free to add Inertial Dampeners.

Go with Lone Wolf on Guri for both offensive Predator and even more defensive shenanigans.
