Conner Net Multiple Ships?

By PyrusCreed, in X-Wing Rules Questions

Hey all, new to X-Wing and I've got a question regarding the Conner Net bomb. Now the card says that you use an action to place one Conner Net token, which detonates when a ship's base or maneuver template overlaps it. Now here's my question, what happens if the token is dropped in such a way that it overlaps multiple ships? For example, my K-Wing uses its action to drop the token right on top of two of my opponent's Tie Fighters. Does the token:

a. explode and affect both ships

b. affect only the first ship it touches

c. affect only one ship, but it's my choice

d. it does not explode

Thanks in advance.

C.

When multiple ships simultaneously trigger a bomb token the owner of the bomb token chooses which ship suffers the effects. It is possible, for example, to drop cluster mines on two enemy ships in such a way that the center token overlaps both ships and the outer tokens each overlap one of the ships. The player who deployed the bomb tokens gets to choose which one of the two enemy ships get to roll 4 attack dice and which one skates by with only having to roll 2 attack dice (and suffer the hit results only).

Thanks ZealuxMyr.
