Admonition Clarification from FFG

By Hastatior, in Star Wars: Armada Rules Questions

So I guess all our questions are finally getting answered.

My query was about admonition and discarding tokens and spending them.

Long story short:

If your token is ready you can spend it for the effect and then discard it for admonition - fine

If your token is ALREADY EXHAUSTED you have to decide to EITHER discard for admonition OR discard for the defense effect. - AFAIK new info, or at least a clarification

Its a Clarification that when you Discard its discarded immediately . There's no "Pause State" or "Stack" for lack of a better term.

I think one person brought it up and we pretty well already knew that something can only be "discarded" one time, since, y'know, its discarded :)

Yeah, preaching to the choir, however I did have someone once try to simultaneously resolve both effects and it led to a...disagreement.

There are still arguments about this in games with a "stack." Someone always tries to get two for the price of one.
