How does Arvel compare in size to say... Jain or Astarra?

Don't mind unfinished Astarra :P

Gotta love how Jain is looking at Arvel (that how I see it.)

I wish they had used this scale from the start.

As long as they fit on a square without sticking out:p Looking at you Volucrox Reavers....

Don't forget Ispher :P

I wish they had used this scale from the start.

I wish they had kept the same scale from all along the game ...

Who put a GW orc in my descent box?????

You mean one fist?

You mean one fist?

Yes, but this sculpt of him looks just like something GW would have put out a few years ago.

Don't mind unfinished Astarra :P

Looks fine to me - in real life people come in different sizes too.

I wish they had used this scale from the start.

I've just started painting the Core Lieutenants.. SOOOOO TINY compared to everything else. So disappointing.

I suppose I'd have to repurchase everything is they reprinted them at this scale.

Those Shades are **** good looking :) Thanks for pictures:)!

Don't mind unfinished Astarra :P

That's Arvel Worldwalker , though, and she's not just "differently sized", her head and fingers are noticably bigger than the other models.

On her Conversion Kit picture, she looks petite and thin, a well-trained elf.

This model makes her look like an orc, a massive monstrosity of a half-ogre compared to the others.

Edit: And judging from this , she's not even the biggest in the package. But at least the others can say that they're monstrous.

Right- I'm fine with Karnon being huge- Arvel mever appeared that way, though.

just to show the difference and try to compare, here is a picture of the original TOI heroes

https://boardgamegeek.com/image/658587/descent-tomb-ice?size=medium

even on her rock Arvel is lower than Shiver for example.

I get that scale differences are annoying, but looking at that picture.... I can't feel BAD about having these minis when compared to THOSE minis. So much more detail, so much cleaner... much better in every way. So Tomble will come up to their knees... small price to pay for these beautiful figures IMO.

I'd rather have them slightly bigger than slightly smaller, less detailed, or less dynamic.

There's no doubt that this H&M pack has a big problem of size.

About Karnon and Steelhorns, since they are "monsters heroes", it's not a problem

but about One fist and Arvel, there's some troubles ... One Fist looks lke a space marine orc, directly extract from Warcraft, even Nanok and Mok small one next to him ...

and Arvel is outsized, too huge and great, with big hands, head, and all ... making hero like a giant comparating to others

I'm must say that really deceives me, furthermore because of price

I hope they add news products in the production line. Now its only Chains that Rust until the end of the year and nothing more :(

And that would be fair enough

since hybrids class are going to disapoint me, and this pack with figure outscaled, seriously, i'm not sure I want this to continue the way it is now

Waiting for more hybrid classes news.

@Rugal : How is this "hybrid class" system going to disappoint you ?

The end is near, brace yourselfs for Descent 3.0

Well, I think atm, I'm fine with Descent news. Maybe in a couple months (FFG terms = at the end of the year) I would like to see the next Campaign for RtL but also what monsters are they going to put in the next H&M or how are they going to solve the problem of releasing the last heroes from Descent 1.
