So I've been playing around with a few ideas for K-wings and thought that maybe the 3-kwing + tactician is fun but can it be improved any?

I've got two options I'm mulling over

Thoughts?

How much have you used Conner Nets? They're handy, but I've only seen them used to tremendous effect with Advanced SLAM.

Can anyone else comment on SLAMless bomb Ks?

K-Wings without Adv. Slam and without action header bombs are viable. In this instance you only use the Slam action to run away/arc dodge so you don't get wrecked - particularly good in the end game, provided you're patient and make the effort to avoid getting shot over getting to take a shot every turn.

I caution against using Tactician as that card only triggers when your opponent is in your Primary Firing Arc and K-Wings aren't the best at making sure they're pointed at the enemy. Their dial, ability to fire their primary weapon outside of their primary firing arc, and turret upgrade slot make them ideal for not giving a poodoo about where your opponent is, in relation to your primary firing arc. Even at only 2 points I'm not certain you'd be able to get your point's worth out of tactician...the K-Wing, especially at a low PS, wasn't designed to be a jouster...

Also the action header bomb without Adv. Slam is pretty pointless, might as well take a y-wing with the bomb upgrade slot for all the good it'll do you...

I like the special K list of 3-kwings so I'm looking at variants of it. I know how tough it can be to get things at R2 AND in arc but for an initial pass it's pretty darn powerful and the threat of that is something that's caused issues for some of my opponents.
