I have a tournament coming in a couple weeks and I want to give this a try, new to Dash, confident with Ello. Now I'm not that much for being a meta try hard, so bringing some what of a hail mary. Is this a bit ridiculous or is there something here. Please C&C!

From personal experience, Integrated Astromech has saved my Asty (pun intended) more often than Autothtusters by being able to lose a crippling critical card and have a new hull point when needed, even with regen.

And I have great fun with him and Outmanoeuvrer

Is there a particular plan for the Cluster missiles, if not I'm sure there could be a better spend of those points than ordinance, which will let you down if you rely on it without munitions support like a fail safe or guidance chips

I thinking about it... just a toss up between AT and IA. Don't have Outmaneuver. The only plan with cluster missiles is to shoot anyone that gets close and stuff.

I like Ello a lot but with so much stress out there in the meta right now I have to go R2 regen Poe. As soon as Atsy starts taking stress, that awesome tallon roll goes bye-bye.

That's why I like Asty. More maneuverable than Poe can be. It's always focusing with Poe, I don't want to rely so much on that. I think competitively in me I don't have R5P9 so yeah.

On a more serious note, I flew Asty this past weekend. Was legitimately impressed with how well we handles. Threw BB-8 on him, was liberal with my usage of greens and t-rolls... made him incredibly difficult to pin him down when I flew him properly. Especially when I had Porkins on the board, who hey at least can pop a white K-turn, I was amazed to see all the places on the board I could get him.

Ohhhhhh. Meh. What can I say, it hasn't come up for me yet.

I find that autothrusters are better against TLTs and IA is better against pretty well everything else.

Played a game with Ello + Red Ace + FCS Blue against TLT Miranda, TLT Y and VI Poe. Opponent flew Poe stupidly right at me (he was trying to second-guess me and got it wrong) so Poe went down in two rounds of shooting, but the TLTs just proceeded to take me apart. Got the Y down to 1 hull, but lost all three of my ships with the Y and Miranda still in play. Autothrusters would have made a huge difference because he was almost always shooting out of arc at me. As it was, TLTs just chipped the IAs away.

If you know there are no TLTs around, then IA is a good choice. Otherwise, AT every time. No contest.

That's why I'm taking AT rather than IA. Should I take Poe instead for the the extra point? Another thing how to fly Dash?

To be honest I prefer VI Ello to Poe but YMMV. Depends how you want to play. Ello is more arc-dodgy, Poe has a more consistent damage output.

Fly Dash by flying in fast laps around the board, just make sure you don't end a move on a rock. Make full use of the turrets, boost and barrel roll to control your range. Just don't let stresshog shoot you.

I've just flown a practice tourney with cliche Poe, Atsy with Predator and AT protected by Biigs.

Was an amazingly fun list to fly. Loose formation till contact with Biggs keeping the initial heat off the others then breaking up to allow him to survive while Poe did his regen thing and Atsy dodged round like a loon. Wasn't the most competitive list (went 3 and 1 but two wins and the loss were modified). Not entirely sure why not but it didn't fly quite how I imagined.

Atsy though was who provided all the fun in the list. I like Predator as it means you can T-Roll, boost and not be relying on naked red dice. With Artoo added like you have, that's a lot of survivability added. I see the benefit of VI in a list that doesn't have a higher PS ace even with the slight loss of punch though I wonder if it's really needed on such an unpredictable ship? I've been finding even at PS7 a lot of people struggle to catch him.

Super Dash 58pts (whether that is Kyle as normal or as you have Lando makes no difference). You lose the missiles and have 4 points to play with.

Atsy, AT, Predator, Artoo 39pts

Leaves 2pts to play with. Initiative bid? Weapons Guidance on Atsy? Talking out of my rear end?

I really like predator. I'll keep messing with the list.
