I'm a little underwhelmed with the Armada kit (honestly I'll go to tournaments for fun more than prizes) but the extra VI in the X Wing kit is pretty sweet.

I'll add my name to the list of people disappointed about the token absence. My OCD sense will trigger every time I look at my command token pile. Fancy Navigate, Squadron and CF tokens, and then. . .cardboard Engineering. Womp womp.

So whats the go for us in Australia who are still waiting for the Winter Kit?

I'm pretty sure that FFG is unable to send this kinda stuff to Australia because of some issue with the Asutralian Distributors

I don't know but I hear that the lack of prizing is caused by some policy issue with the Australian distributors or something.

Haha cheers! Our distributors have said there was shipping delays fir our Store Champions kit and have no idea whats going on with the Winter Kit

I'm pretty disappointed by this kit. I mean, I still gotta have it, but I gotta have it less. Here's why, because it makes me feel better to put it out there;

1. As so many people have stated, why no Engineering token? I mean, it makes no sense. I was really hoping they did engineering, and then moved on to do acrylic defense tokens. (Clearly, different than the ones they did for worlds.)

2. I get why the Falcon gets an alt art, as its such an iconic ship, but the thing never sees my table unless I make a real effort to put it there because I like the paint job I did on it. I really would have preferred to see more alt art generic squadrons, like Interceptors or A-Wings. On the bright side, it does look freakin' sweet.

3. Leading Shots is ok, I guess. It only comes in the one expansion. But its a pretty cheap expansion I have 4 of. I like the idea though, and I hope they use this as a vehicle to get more of other less common but fun to play with upgrade cards out there, such as APT's, TRC's, Flight Controllers, etc.

I'm really hung up on the lack of engineering tokens, just because it boggles my mind. I hope its because there was some sort of production issue and they were just like "whateves, we'll just toss it in the next kit." I think it would also be cool if they polled us on what we wanted alt art for, but that's a pipe dream.

Cause alt art x17. And mc80 commands would of been a huge let down for the players.

Maybe give us a poll on what alt art cards we like to see. So far i dont see myself using the mc80 or the ass frig alt card.

I guess because leading shots goes well with the assault cruiser

Much the same they did over the X-Wing C3PO ones... Perhaps even more so.

Push the Limit is one people go crazy for, too. The original ones were selling for five bucks on eBay for the longest time. I have a bunch of the alt art ones I picked up in trades and from eBay and they're reliably going for ten bucks each.

Oddly enough, the AF MkII alt art card has sold for around thirty. Never thought that one would be so popular.

Polls wouldn't be a bad idea, though.

I do like the Leading Shots participation prize. It means that I can sell on the CR90 expansion that fell into my lap without having to take that out for my own use. Now about that Electronic Countermeasures... well, I guess I have one from the Core Set, and I'm starting to think that a dual ISD2 list is not a good idea (see here).

But I'm going to miss the medal. I have an outfit on which I have my medals (one from X-Wing, and 5 from Armada) as well as Imperial-themed patches. I was hoping to get more medals than an Italian generalissimo.

I have not even used mine as I do not have a set, so it is still all cardbord for me.
