My friend (a complete noob to X-wing) is playing a game in a few days with me and has stated that he feels ready to play with ships like the Phantom and Interceptor but I was wondering what list would be suitable to fly against it? I was thinking:

Blue Ace 27

Biggs 25

R2-F2 3

Integrated astromech 0

Blue Novice 24

Rookie Pilot 21

Anything with Rebel Captive.

If he is a supergreen player perhaps to fly a Cloack capable ship is not the best option.

Biggs can be a little frustrating in your first game, and the Golden Rule should be...LET THE NOVICE WIN !!! With the hearth pumping and high on endorfines, open your laptop.and let him buy more ships !!!!

OK. So we played two games, he played the Phantom Interceptor FO list both times and he lost both times but he's hooked and is getting both cores plus a few more expansions playing imperials.
