They have been on the boat since December. It is entirely possible they switch to the next status which is Shipping Now and arrive next week if they go to shipping in the next day or two.

I'm going to be the pessimist here and guess they don't hit stores until March.

Wave 6 came end of february last year... So im guessing wave 8 will be end feb/begin march. Some toy exhibit in Germany already got them, so it cant be long:

Not sure if this is the case for all FLGS, but the owner of mine mentioned that with the change to distribution, starting last week, deliveries will always arrive for release on Thursdays. In the past a store could put new releases out as soon as they got them, but now only on Thursdays.

I keep saying late February or early March. But the stores and distributors in my area keep saying Wave 8 is shipping this week. I wonder if they are confusing Wave 8 with the S&V restock.

That's possible. I just looked and it still says 'on the boat' for Wave 8, and so far a week or so after the status changes to shipping has been pretty consistant.

Guess I was wrong about it being yesterday.
