X Wing Campaign Against Cancer

By Wretch, in X-Wing

This was posted in the organized play sub forum but I wanted to give it, its due in the main forum.

As a cancer survivor (I know there are others on the forum) I can say that any charity that supports finding a cure is worth while, but this is doubly so because it also involve X-Wing.

I am going to try to make the VA game (wife permitting), but regardless I will be donating some money. I encourage everyone to play or donate as nearly 40% of people in the US will have cancer in their life you are really helping yourself in the long run.

Hear, hear! We are running one here in Utah as well! I hope we can get the Utah players out to support a great cause and compete for great prizes.

April 9th- Game Haven Sandy, Utah. For more info: https://www.facebook.com/events/237776386556080/

If you are interested in this event or one of the 14 other ones across the US go to www.x-wing.org for more info! Please register soon as many venues have player caps due to space restrictions.

Just a bump to get this back on the front page.

In addition to supporting a good cause, this is an awesome event. Prize support is far greater then anything I have seen at any other tournament and players take the fly casual motto to a new level. Everyone I encountered at the last 2 events was there to have fun and a great time was had by all.

Find a city near you and sign up!

Can't wait for this! I am running the CAC tournament in Salt Lake City, we already have around 25 players signed up with a 32 player cap. We hope you will join us!
