4 Questions from Yesterday's Tournament

So when you roll a lot of dice the mathematics change slightly.

I have been looking for the article I read on this year's ago in my 40k days but it comes down to each die changing the outcome.

The theory actually stems from Binomial Distribution

The theory actually stems from Binomial Distribution

Unless I completely misunderstand the article posted, that is about how rolling two dice affect the probability of getting any single value, because there's more ways to get that value.

That doesn't mean that the physics of rolling more than one die at a time is going to change the odds in any controllable way.

I guess my point is... if I throw 6 dice at the same time, I'm not more likely to score <hits> then if I roll them one at a time. Likewise if I roll 8 dice or 4 dice.

You know what. I don't care anymore. Go on, go break the rules, when you get into a situation where you mess up or someone disagrees with you, just know you are wrong.

Go on, go break the rules

Did I say I was going to break the rules? I mean my last post I quite clearly stated that doing it the correct way was also the best way due to keeping your options open.

That however has nothing to do with how many dice you roll at one time.
