Can they output enough damage before going kaboom is my only question. They both have low evade dice and can melt quickly under focused fire.

With decent manuvering i should be able to avoid focus fire. Also if my oppent decides to focus on one the other should be free to start blowing things up

Could be worthwhile to strip the two large ones down and add a black sun ace as a 3rd ship, just to flank and protect those blinds. But then again, with boost, and glitter, you might be able to fly well enough to stay out of bad situations

It will do alright vs. aces like Soontir, but will probably get destroyed by TLT lists, Regen lists, and Swarm lists. It doesn't have enough evade or damage to get past TLT or Swarm spam and it doesn't have enough damage to get past Regen lists. IMO of course, but if you have a Soontir heavy meta it would probably be pretty good (although I'd probably take Boba + VI over Kath).

I dont realy know what to exxpet in this turny ive never plaued at thos store

I'm looking to run a Bossk build for my store tournament, but am running him with 2 Z95s and a Y Wing for support. Until Wave 8 hits, I'm not sure I want to try a 2 ship build with Scum (IG88s are fun though). Instead of tactician, I would go for Mercenary Copilot on Bossk to get a crit and try to stay at range 3. If you want to keep tactician, you could put on a mangler cannon to do the same thing for ranges 1-3. Instead of VI, you could do calculation. Just depends if you really want to try and shoot first.

I've just started playing with my new yv666 so take that fwiw. Anyway from the top..

Tactician is solid on a firespray if your looking to hate on aces but its much better with VI, at which point Id suggest ion cannon too. This combo wrecks regen ships pretty hard and scares anything with PtL. It's been my standard fett starting point for awhile.

That said it does shoehorn you into a certain build and lately I've had a rethink. I've been going for higher damage output instead via secondaries with max dice mods. Killing is its own form of control. Bottom line is it depends what your local meta looks like. A nice middle ground is homing missiles and bombs btw but its costly.

If you can keep lone wolf active on kath power to ya but I say lose it. Its awesome in theory but it makes your deployment and movements very predictable allowing fast opponents to concentrate force or just ends up being worthless until your in a losing proposition. Or both. Not worth the trade off in a 2 large ship list like this, IMO. Others may disagree but thats my take. Predator, VI or EH is what I'd suggest, depending on the rest of your loadout. Now if your a superb pilot or LW is just your thing please disregard.

On bossk lose the stims, theres better upgrades in this list for the cost. You also want some form of enabler for his ability. In my very limited experience so far with bossk either calculation or mango cannon are ok. calculation is sufficient when combined with natural crits but it is slightly more situational. On the up side it does fit better with the primary weapon.

The mango is pricier but guaranteed and allows him to stay at range better while freeing up your EPT for VI or even expert handling which synergizes nicely with the cannon. The down side is it doesn't work in the auxiliary arc. Pick your poison. The rest looks solid from here.
