So, will Boba crew be 'scum and imperial only' or just 'scum only' ? He flies both factions, so would be kinda cool if we have a named crew that can be on board of the ships of two factions.

It would make sense that he could crew for both. Especially seeing as he spends some time on that Star Destroyer in ESB!

That would be an awesome mechanic! But would be very complicated for the designers also... Some combo's would just be too broken.

I really, reallywish people would stop suggesting that Scum be hired out to other factions. I understand it thematically, but mechanically the factions need to be distinct, or there is no point to even having factions. They all need to have their strengths and weaknesses. Combining factions dilutes the game and makes it much less strategic.

I'd bet that it's scum only. way more room for design, way less things to keep in mind NOT to do.

maybe (don't think so, but maybe) the empire "forces of order, justice and the means to enforce both" will get their own boba, later.

Just to play Devil's Advocate, it could say "Non-Rebel" and be occluded by the other cards in the spread currently.

I think he'll be Scum only, but it'd be cool to have him, and only him out of the new crews, available to both Imperial and Scum. I just wanna know what he does already, along with all the other cards in the Jumpmaster expansion.

I can see a future upgrade or mod like "Special Assignment" for a scum ship to allow it to be used by Alliance and Imperial - Maybe a 3-5 point upgrade and unique (so no double bro bots).

Use Palpy + Stealth Device to keep a ship cloaked forever! Not competitive, but mildly obnoxious.

Not that I'm advocating it, as we don't need their scum, but hiring out scum to the empire would be easy to implement. A unique illicit upgrade that says that the ship counts as imperial instead of scum for 0-1 points. Call it Imperial Contract or something.
