Hired guns: if the roll an X it is treated as blank.

IG: it's up to the victim. It can be one damage or he can discard 1 command card from the top of his deck.

R2: No, there are 4 faces with blocks and surge cancels, 1 with an X, and 1 blank. If you roll the blank face you get +1X.

Ok, thanks for the answers. This helps a lot. Can I assume that whenever we see a strain result, I'm skirmish it follows what you say ( the victim chooses the damage or command card loss.)
