as the title says I need a copy of autothrusters and here in the uk on ebay ppl are asking stupid money for single cards plus silly post n packaging. Is there anyone out here that has a little more sense of value plz.

If they're asking stupid money, buy a StarViper and sell the extra yourself.

I wud say between £1-£2 a card would b fair instead of the ppl on ebay are asking £6.50

it's worth 3-5 for a merc player , 0-1 for competitive player and 0 for rebel\imperial player.

unfortunately S&V isn't the posterboy faction and starviper isn't the star of tournament level games

Considering that the RRP of the SarViper is £17, you're basically expecting someone to do you the service of splitting a pack for you, then sell the remaing ship and cards (the least desirable bits) for £15. Yes, some businesses sell expansion packs for less than RRP, but that's really up to them rather than something we should demand they do.

Long story short, if someone's doing you a service (in this case splitting packs so that you don't need to pack a pack), expect them to charging for said service. This means the individual components will be priced greater rather than lower in value as you seem to be expecting.

If you really need one for a tournament, maybe you can borrow one. If you're playing casually, ask if you can proxy it or borrow it. Most players will let you.

£6 actually seems like a fair price for now. Not because people are greedy, but because it's actually worth a little less than half a Starviper expansion to most of us.

im not demanding anything, I just think that 6-7 is too much for 1 hobbit sized card. Im only after 1 auto thrusters and if I were closer to a store id buy a viper but im a little ouuta the way and now online prices are more than the store I have bought from, I was simply seeing if I was asking too much. I guess im jus not in the same mind as others in terms of individual value.

It was the same when Push the Limit and Stealth Device first hit and were only in 1 certain pack. Nobody wanted to buy multiple sets for them, and so the demand for the cards went up. Which meant people could charge what they wanted.

Used to. Supply is about to MASSIVELY increase as people do Store Champs, he's the participation reward. I'll be selling any duplicates off before long, and I'll have at least two.

It might be worth it to buy a starviper and sell it with a single autothrusters card on ebay. That should be an interesting package for scum players, and you might end up paying less than 6 for the card. If it works, do it again.
