After looking over an article on the ISD1 I figured I would quickly toss together a list and see what people think. Running the ISD1 is attractive to me cause it is kinda different.

*I DO NOT have Rouges/Villans, I DO NOT have another Fighter pack, and the ONLY double ship I have is another VSD though I do have 1 of every Imperial ship

With Vader's rerolls you can drop Ordnance Experts and try to get the Demolisher named ship upgrade.

One set of Boosted Comms can probably go too, whichever ship is deployed closer to the enemy or on the "inside track" can do without.

If the VSD-II drops to a VSD-I you don't loose much in the carrier role so with 10 points to spare you could upgrade the ISD-I to an ISD-II but only do that if you can get ECM on there too. If not, then look at officer Chiranau to get some fighters to disengage or maybe put flight controllers on the VSD as with no intel you must win the fighter battle before attacking ships.

I like your point about the Ordnance experts and maybe dropping boosted comms. I will tinker with what I can do dropping the VSD to a 1 model as well.

The ISD is staying a 1 though since that is the whole point. Using the ISD-1 as this close with and brawl ship instead of trying to out gun the rebels at range. I am curious to see how how well it works if it does. Could be really fun imo!

Edited the list to reflect some tinkering. I could have Soontir Fell or drop him to add in a flight controllers. Thoughts?

List is solid.

The only adjustment i might make if i were running it would be to streamline the fighter selection (probably due to a slight ocd tendency of mine).

Works vs fighters and ships. Can't go wrong with more tie fighters!! Of course chiraneau is a good choice to take... and if you take him mauler is a must have. Sooo many options.
