Potential LiveStream of Armada Games from Hothgary!

By Drasnighta, in Star Wars: Armada

So people are aware, Yesterday (Saturday), the Sentry Box had their X-Wing Store Championships, and these were TwitchTV'd live for like, almost 18 hours... I spent most of the day being their FFG Forums link.

Well, the Good news for Armada is, at the end of the day, they didn't tear down the Setup.

So its ENTIRELY POSSIBLE that We'll be able to steal the setup and their expertise for a LiveStream or Two.

I don't know when exactly (Its 08:30 at the moment, and the Store won't open until 11:00), but if you follow us, you'll get an Email when we start broadcasting:

Hopefully, You'll see my Painted Ships, but I may also end up as a Commentator instead, you never know - this is our "First Shot" to see how things work.

I hope it enjoys, if it all goes ahead :D

We will be going live in a few Minutes...

The Imperial Shredderball vs Dual MonCals and the Squadron Trimmings.

Endor Death Star mat is so nice!

Love as much feedback as possible guys as we want to make it as high quality as possible.

Thanks

LOL, thanks guys

What were the results?

Will this be on YouTube? I missed it but am interested to watch.

It'll get up on Youtube once Kris has some editing time - and that'll be post-process of the X-Wing Championships...

So I won't (for his health) give a time, but I will let people know when it is up...

The First Game ended up as a 256-140 Victory to me (Paul)... So by no means a great victory, but a victory nonetheless. I ended up trading my ISD for his MonCal, but couldn't put enough damage on to his Flagship MonCal to take it down... But my Tarkin Victory survived on 1 hull...

... As a note, my Damage Deck was at 3 cards at the end of the Day... So many Dodonna Crits....

The Second Game ended up a pretty heavy 400-200 something victory to Matt... He lost his Glad and his Victory, but the ISD went through everything else - including putting 9 Damage on an Unshielded MonCal in one broadside, as well as his Interceptor group cleaning up all of Scott's Squadrons...

Watched it, loved it.......and now I'm going to buy a pair of core sets.

That was some pretty good commentary! I was only able to watch the last part of the second game. Well done.

I recommend only getting 1 core and instead get extra expansions,

My wife's going to be playing too, so I'll need two damage decks.

A discussion about campaign rules during one of the round-tables has given me ideas - cheers guys.

Thanks for the feedback guys, it is very much apriciated.

My aim is to bring a new level to the live streaming of tabletop games and to make it, not only fun to watch but to have a consistent standard that is indistinguishable to a prerecorded game that has been laboured over in post.

We are still learning and this was my first trip in to the Armada Streaming.

Kris

And considering that I'd jumped on Kris after his 14+ hours of Streaming and commentating on X-Wing the night before, and jumped him straight into a Game where everything had to be adjusted for a double-size table...

- This man is a Professional.

Was an absolute pleasure to sit in, and We'll certainly look forward to what small refinements he feels we need in the future and going to even more awesomeness :D
