Edge Weapon Compendium

By Ruakar, in Star Wars: Edge of the Empire RPG

Some of my players are not as fanatic a star wars fan as myself, and i have been meaning to make them a Visual web based Weapon Compendium for a while. After playing some battlefront today i thought i might give it a shot. I was going to start with the Edge of the Empire Items first then work my way through the other books. Though i did the DH-17 and the EE-3 today, I can see this little project taking months with all the other work i have. I am going to try and do a few a week and will be sure to share with the community.

I really like the way they show Stats in Battlefront so i did them like that, though i may do something different later.

Enjoy. uhg. i just saw some clean up i forgot to fix around the DH-17, i will fix it in another update.

Awesomesauce. I will commission something from you which the whole community will benefit from in the future. I just have to get it organized first.

It does look great! What program are you using to make the art? My daughter very interested in it. Thanks.

I just did the DL-44, this time i saved the different pieces and pulled them apart. The Photoshop file is a little more complicated than this. however this is the breakdown of how i paint the guns and the ships/floor plans. Characters are done in a totally different way :)

I start with the line drawing, then i go all the way to the back, doing the base layer first and work my way forward piece by piece all the way up to the color correction layer. Hope this helps her understand.

Thank you! She was wondering if there is any websites you suggest for character drawing?

Layers are awesome. Everyone loves layers.
