I've been playing Warhammer 40K for a few years (20odd) and have fairly recently gotten into X-Wing. I love the elegant gameplay and simultaneous movement and combat. 40K has gotten too bloated and to be honest, its just not fun standing around for half an hour watching your opponent remove half your army in the first turn.

The thing I miss though is the painting. I quite like the scum and villainy purple and grotty green colour scheme and wonder if anyone has already matched it to Vallejo or Citadel paints? I fancy some interesting tie fighters........
