Are my attachment cards taken into account when determining the cost of my units when I play the cards Squad Swarm and Strength in Numbers? Would it be illegal to play squad Swarm when one of the two Stormtrooper Squads had Vader's Finest attached?

No there is a thread on this somewhere. I sent a question to FFG and they responded that those cards refer to the deployment cost of the unit. The upgrade doesn't affect the deployment or reinforcement cost of those cards/figures.

Phew! I was afraid I had accidentally cheated in my last tournament. Would have sucked if I had to call up the TO like 'so about that swag and medal I won. Heh heh...'
