I may have missed this in a previous post (22 pages is a lot to run through), but will there be a way to add newer factions in the future?

I really liked that you already have other sci-fi factions like Babylon 5, Star Trek, etc.

I’ve been keeping a project private, until I can play test it, as I’ve been trying to make the SDF-1 Macross from the Macross series (read: NOT ROBOTECH!!) and other associated cards. And will we be able to size or adjust images used in the cards in the future?

Indeed! Custom factions and genres are going to be a thing!

They will be slightly tricky with the icon assets, but if you're familiar with SVG files it'll be a breeze.

I want you all to know how awesome @cynanbloodbane is. They just donated a huge amount to KDY! Thank you so very much for the assistance!

So... I know v2 is coming soon (like the SSD? just kidding)

But I tried using v1 today, and it now does strange things with short titles... for instance Fleet Ambush gets a line break after "Fleet", but if I put a second space between the two words it looks OK.

Just wanted to let u known in case it matters.

Edit: fooled around a bit, and it looks like of the title is 2 words AND very short it gets a line break. Funny.

Wierdness... I'll have a look.

and yeah, v2 is coming, but it's taken a back burner due to life - spending 5.5 hours per day commuting right now kinda puts a damper on fun things.

That's harsh... And here I think more than ten minutes is too long a commute.

Are there separated assets for these cards?

I really want to have a go and designing some ship cards for myself, I use adobe software such as Photoshop and Illustrator.

I tried registering but it won't let me through, it seems determined to believe I am a bot!

I tried making some changes to a few cards today, but it looks like the rendering queue isn't moving forward.

Did I break something?

Version 1of KDY seems to have gone read only? @ThatRobHuman

I know 1.0 was going to go away eventually. Does this mean 2.0 is close?

It worked fine just the other day.

I can still edit, but things that go into the rendering queue don't get... rendered :D

I'm just gonna hope Rob got time to implement KDY v2.0, but just didn't announce it yet.

My hosting provider forced a migration and broke some configs lower down in the stack. I let them know and wrote a workaround. Should be good now.

Okay, mostly... the rendering queue is still stuck, but I'm working at hacking it down and restarting it.

Rendering queue is unstuck and fixed. I'll be putting feelers out for better hosting (VPS instead of Shared, for one) so that I can not have to worry about this kind of thing in the future. Also since KDYv2 is built on Node backed by a Neo4J database rather than PHP backed by a MySQL database, I kinda have to...

I was afraid we had lost you @ThatRobHuman .

Glad to hear KDYv2 is still in the works.

Oh I'm always plugging away at it. I touch it almost every night. As for life being less crazy? Naw - I've just gotten used to it now :)
