Also, in light of my present lack of an ability to create silhouettes for new starships, I am simply marking them with a silhouette from their faction. Who wants to take responsibility for moving what part of the Shipyards onto KDY?

I am in the same boat. I can only make the ones I can find PNG pics for.

I can make silhouettes, assuming I can find an image with close to a solid color background. I will start filling them in some evening this week. I will also start adding silhouettes for all the Armada Shipyards stuff as well.

As of now, I am only adding related content to DA's. I am hesitant to copy over his stuff, at least not listed as "public" until he gives the ok.

I would definitely prefer that DA add DA's stuff.

The only other alternative that I will accept is, and DA has to sign off on this publically, is that someone could add items from the shipyards, and then when DA creates an account, I can transfer ownership of all the items to him - but that's logistically annoying - we're better off waiting for him to return.

I have a copy of 3ds Max handy and I might be looking into grabbing 3d Models from games like SWG. So, if I can get the importer working right, I will be able to quickly generate both renders of fighters and silhouettes. I'm not much of a 3d modeler these days, so I'm not going to offer that particular skill.

DA signed off on it in an email to me, but since I suppose I can't prove it was from him without revealing his personal information, I will yield for now. I haven't moved anything over other than my own most recent creations. Any work that can be done on silhouettes would be most appreciated and amazing, so all the more power to the two of you and anyone else that can.

Also going to be adding faction tokens and MAYBE adding the ability to have custom squadron markers, too. (the ones that you can slot into pegs)

Update: silouettes for all Imperial ships and squadrons on Armada Shipyards have been uploaded.

With luck I will get another faction done this evening.

Looks like you have some sils in the Ship Sils that should be Squad Sils: The Lambda, the DX-9, and the ATR-6.

My mistake entering squadron silhouettes in the ship section yesterday, got me thinking. Would it be worth while for,me to enter some of the smaller ships, like the Gozanti, in the squadron section? While I see these as very small Ships, I can also see how someone may want to classify these as squadron units.

Thoughts?

Silhouett update: all but CIS silhouettes are done from Armada Shipyards... + a few extras I came across while image hunting. Namely, the MC40, MC80 wingless Liberty, and the MC90.

Not yet, I haven't even started on the Huge ships yet! Several SSDs, Bulwark, Belator SD, Subjugator-Class & Mandator I, II & III. That will be TOO MUCH FUN!

Silhouette Update: Everything on Armada Shipyards is now in. I am now working my way through Mel's squadrons, filling in those that don't yet exist... This may take a while.

I haven't decided what I want to do with Huge Bases, yet. Truthfully, it'll be a lot of work on my end because of the Arc System I had to build. I kind of want to see what FFG does about it, first, but if enough people nudge me (and can come to a consensus on what 'huge' ship bases should be sized as), I'll consider a large base.

I agree. I'm willing to wait on FFG... for now. Although I may see what a Lucrehulk looks like on a large base. It only needs to be slightly longer than an ISD to look right and still be honking big.
