Okay - I see what the problem is. I'll push an update this evening to fix it - Thanks for catching this.
Kuat Drive Yards - Armada Custom Card/Dial Maker
Not a problem, im just thrilled this works on my tablet. Just want the pc to work for making silhouettes & icons in Photoshop. Though the pc aspect is probably more important for others.
It's actually a screen resolution problem - I hadn't anticipated people using smaller screen sizes on PCs.
I'm mostly worried about being able to properly print things from mobile devices/tablets - I have no way to test how well that works.

Ah
I print at the library, which would mean using a library PC, so no help there.
FoaS could I get you to add the Corporate Sector Authority? I plan on adding a full faction expansion to cover them. I found their logo in SVG below.
I can do that. I think I"m going to just do the star logo (I'm going to take out the text part) - that okay by you? Is there a particular color scheme you'd like to me to use?
Your the Judge I don't mind either way.
I'm going to try rocking a copper color - I'll save gold for the Hapan Consortium when I go to add that
Edit: CSA is added.
Edited by FoaSThank you very much. I will get my CSA expansion started tomorrow. Means I can finally order my CSA fleet as well.

VSDs, Marauder Corvettes,... I cant remember what else?
I've been thinking about changing the formatting of the dice. Instead of having a diamond for each die, how would you guys feel about having a number followed by a single diamond: 3<blue> 4<red> 2<black> that kind of thing?

I think the cards are easier to read this way. It is also easier to talk existing players into usging a more familiar looking card, that they understand at a glance. Less confusion that way. That way they focus on the merits of the ship, not why the dice setup is different.
So by "this" way in your first sentence you mean "the way that currently exists".
As an alternative thought, I might switch it over to the format I used IF there are more then X number of total dice in the box.
Has anyone had any luck printing and cutting out cards as of yet besides me?
*sigh* for some reason, the str_repeat function keeps breaking... I may not really have a choice when it comes to dice formatting
Here's what I did.
If there are more than 11 dice total on an arc, it will display as the 4<blue> 6<red> 5<black>... If it is less than 11, it will display as it does in vanilla armada.
For Squadron cards, as well as ship-card's Anti-Squadron armament, the magic number is 6 instead of 11.
Edited by FoaSguess what? More tweaks - read more on the latest news article.
I'm going to try diagnosing that problem with the overlapping text in the detail view next.
Btw - has anyone heard from DiabloAzul? I had kind of figured he'd jump on this somethin' fierce. (totally biased, though, I'm looking forward to seeing his work printed out in the same style as the rest of my deck).

He announced back in December that he was taking time off for Family and Vacations and even a Wedding in Australia...
I mean, the Man's in Perth.
... he may as well be in Goddamn Narnia....
Fair enough, then!
By the way, I've added a few keywords that I've noticed a few people using in special text. If you want to see a new keyword added, feel free to drop me a message. Same, as before, goes for Factions. Upgrade types are something I'm a little hesitant to add for now, though.
Edited by FoaSOk, maybe I am dense, but how do I print the items in my queue? A how to print could be helpful for maroons like me.
Here's a quick-guide. Assuming you've added things to your print queue so far. Go to your "Workshop"
you should see this:
You can click on the links to get the sheet that you want. It will take you to a page that has all the cards or dials laid out. From there, just hit CTRL+P or the Print button in your browser.
For ships, the dials are split between sizes, by the way - you will need to print all the small separately from the mediums, etc.
EDIT: screw it, I'm going to rename the "Workshop" as "Print Queue"

One item: why stick the pts cost in the upper right corner, when we're used to lower right?
It was mostly to balance the card design. It didn't look right with just the faction logo at the top. I also really wanted to put the card and artist credit on the card and the only good place for it was on the bottom, and if you look at the Upgrade cards, for example, there wasn't enough room to have the ship silhouette, the credit, and the point cost all in one go.
FoaS, this is brilliant!
Now I just need to figure out how to point this stuff beyond a rough guess.
Cynan, there are two BGG starship formulas, linked on page 2 of DA's thread. I also a have a MATLAB function written to run them automatically. You're more than welcome to send me stats to cost, or I can send you the function if you have a program that can run .m files. These are of course estimates, but they're better than nothing.
I don't suppose you have any leads on Squadron point values, do you?
Other than the very simplistic ones over at BGG, no. Rather than a formula, I make an educated guess based on what v is out there, then have someone run them against me, then I run them against them and we adjust up or down from there.
Unfortunately, I have to agree with Cynan. The BGG ones are simplistic on a good day. I am presently working on developing my own, but, especially due to the smaller margin of error on squadron costs, it's still a long way from done. My suggestion would be when generating new squadrons, to run multiple comparisons to near-par units on both sides, using the formulas to guide cost changes, and see where the costs seem to average out. That's really all I can tell you, other than playtest, playtest, playtest. There are a huge number of ships and squadrons on Diablo's thread not on the Shipyards for lack of playtesting.
On a separate note, the above commenters are correct, the lucky SoB is in fact in Australia. I've messaged and texted him about moving part or all of the Shipyard and thread collections and will let the thread know if he responds before he gets back. Otherwise I'm sure he'll be more than happy to speak his mind on his own behalf. I can confirm his priority on return is likely to be the Clone Wars, followed by other pre-existing projects. I am considering updating KDY with some of my own ships that I've placed on the thread for examination. I'll let you know when I make a move.
