Kuat Drive Yards - Armada Custom Card/Dial Maker
I THINK I've got it, but I can't tell since I can't reproduce (even when using Firefox as my browser) - would you mind giving it a whirl?
Ok all fixed
Cool
(I am amused by your Han Solo text)
EDIT: I've also bumped you up to admin so you can do back-end stuff (add Factions, Defense Tokens, Keywords, etc) to your heart's content. You can also create an Expansion for Warlords if you like, this way folks can add the expansion to their print queue all in one go.
Edited by FoaSI noticed I had pretty yellow text. I thought it was a mistake. I did update Solo's text. Just wanted to test the defect. It is a great App for the testing phase, especially if you just need trial copies for group playtests.
I find it helpful for when you want unofficial cards in your games that are all consistent. It REALLY helps to have a machine cutter to slice up your cards, though.
So I believe that Wes has asked for cutting guides on the print-outs (which makes total sense). Does anyone else have any kind of small feature requests? I'll be honest, since I've been working on this for the last month and now it's live, I don't really know what to do with myself :3
Edited by FoaSJust in case I was not clear I meant the cutout guide for the flight stand hole in the center of the base.
Ah - I thought you were referring to the outer edges - either way, I think I can do this. I'll play around with it on the dev server and upload when I get it just right.
I guess the same would go for the flight peg hole on the squadron bases.
Thank you!
As an Android user, I can't use Strange Eons. But I love to create custom cards. Once I start collecting Armada I'll be registering.
Great!

I hope that it works well for you. I don't know how well it will work for an Android-os as it's really intended for home computers, but I hope to get your feedback.
Is there anyway I can create my own faction?
An admin can create for you on the back end, but the general public cannot. The reason why is because you need to be careful about the the way the vector SVG is made for the logo and I want to keep control of that for now. If you have one in mind, I can add it in for you, but I'll need a color scheme and an SVG of the logo. Also, I think for now, I'm going to keep non-Star Wars factions out of it for right now. I will probably change how that works, but not tonight.
By the way - I cleaned up the silhouette images for the ships and squadrons that have been added by folks. Best results will be given when you use a pure-black image with a transparent background for those silhouettes.
Thanks for the cleanup. I do not have access to photoshop any longer so I have to do what I can with Elements.
No worries - GIMP might work well for you?
Screw it >.< - I've added Faction Categories - if you look how the faction drop-down looks now you'll see that there is groundwork for non-canon and homebrew factions. I can add such factions if people are so interested, but you're going to have to provide the SVG logo file.

Logging in now redirects you to the Workshop page instead of the Index. From there, you can see the last 25 comments made on content that you've created. Also fixed a bug where it would break if you tried to edit a squadron.
Edited by FoaSFoaS, this is brilliant!
Now I just need to figure out how to point this stuff beyond a rough guess.
Yeah, that I can't help you with, sadly >.<
I had been tempted to try including a "suggested point value" but then I realized that it would be a lot of work to maintain and lots of user-case scenarios, so I said "Nope" to that particular idea. There is a thread over at boardgame geek that discusses point value formulae, but I take all such discussions with a grain of salt.
Be that as it may, I'm glad you dig this project - I'm always open to suggestions (and I did find one new bug that I need to fix for the Expansion content).

Cynan, there are two BGG starship formulas, linked on page 2 of DA's thread. I also a have a MATLAB function written to run them automatically. You're more than welcome to send me stats to cost, or I can send you the function if you have a program that can run .m files. These are of course estimates, but they're better than nothing.
I completely forgot where those were. Thanks. I may just work up an excel sheet to calculate suggested values. That way I can enter values for fan created additions.
Btw, kdy runs perfectly on my LG Droid tablet, but on my pc it displays the cards side by side overlaping the text on the right side of the page. Though this may be because I am using a tv as a monitor, set up to optimize online games.
That sounds really odd... Can you post a screenshot, please?
Thank you!

Worked fine!
I admit I've yet to start Armada, so was using guess work with how to build a space station. But I've saved "Sentinel Station" so you know it works with Android.
Now I have to get into Armada!
So I can accurately design an Armada "Deep Space Nine"

This was faster.
