Madness or Genius: Taking a leaf from Lord Admiral Nelsons book.

By Englishpete, in Star Wars: Armada Fleet Builds

The tip of the spear is a no nonsense list, straight from the pages of Nelson's "Straight at 'em lads'

The idea being weather the storm on the way in utilizing Mon Mothma and Antilles, then slow and unload. Repairing like mad as needed.

The Point of the Spear.

I'm toying with a list that's two MC30's, one of each title, Antilles on one intell officer on the other, ordinance crews, redundant shields, APT, one XI7 the other XX-9

Then an MC80 Assault with Defience, Nav Team, ECM, Advanced Projectors, Enhanced Armement, and leading shots

Two A wing sqd and Garm Bel Iblis

The MC80 stays at range and pounds them. The defiance- leading shots combo is nasty. Hopefully this let's the shrimp get in close and unload.

See my "what to do with those extra points" post. Currently I'm toying with 2 MC 30s, 2 blue corvettes with SW7, and a red corvette with Mon Mothma. Plus Han Solo. Similar strategy, everyone charges forward and unloads. Not tested yet but I'm hoping to make Lord Nelson proud.
