Tycho Celchu
Its a good illustration of how far FFG has gone to prevent infinite combos.
Tycho Celchu gets to PTL or Exp Int without fear of stress
Once per Opportunity applies, preventing redundant chaining
The stacking trigger rules applies, allowing non-Tychos the ability to chain both into a double-stress, but preventing Tycho from re-chaining into PTL for a 3rd stress
If we allowed a Double PTL build by ignoring some text on A-wing Test Pilot, PTL still has the "Once per round" clause, preventing you from activating an individual PTL more than once
If we removed that clause from PTL, you still only get one activation of each individual Action per round.
This card may put Tycho on top... I'm gonna have to buy the Punisher One expansion to get this card

Never mind... not roll, but reroll... I'm disappointed. going back to use target lock again.
Edited by Dej2Rage willl certainly make Tycho's meagre 2 attack more palatable. Chardaan Refit, A-Wing Test Pilot, PTL, Exp Int, and Rage? Not bad for 31 points.
I'm pretty new to X-Wing, and don't get to play too often, but Tycho has quickly become one of my favorites. There are quite a few combos that give him some fun abilities. I've alternated between Wired and Expert Handling as the second EPS (PTL is a given) and enjoyed both. As an alternate to Exp Int, I've sometimes gone more defensively with Stealth Device.
I myself never count the stress on Tycho. I have a permanently attached stress token on him.
On the base you can insert a 'number' token next to the pole where the actual ship rests on.
This is where I put in a stress token and simply never make a K-turn with Tycho...
Easy. I like. ![]()
