I actually think that they are working on wave 4 right now. Don't believe me, go find the GenCon interview
While I do believe you, I find it interesting that you have made an assertion and then tell others to go find the proof. lol
Were you expecting him to provide an APA-formatted citation?
Of course, they're already working on Wave 4. They have an 18-month lead-time. That probably means they're already conceptualizing Wave 5!
While I'm also starting to get ornery for the lack of news, I have to also say that I haven't actually fully explored Wave 2 yet - and that's coming from an Empire-only player. I have an ISD and two Raiders still in their original wrapping. Part of that is because I picked up two ISDs and a Raider from the Sullust tournaments [/bragging], which I did unwrap, but also because I'm not yet sure what to do with the Raiders.
A good reason behind that is because I'm a squadron-heavy (>110pnts of mostly bombers) player in a local meta that doesn't do that. So, until my meta gets wise to me and brings more fighters (=non-bomber squadrons) to the table, I don't have to evolve and see how the Raider can fit into my meta.
The point of mentioning that is that the wave two meta hasn't fully run its course in my area, and I imagine that many other local metas are also still developing. We shouldn't want wave three to come out yet (though an announcement would be nice).
A link to substantiate would probably be fine....
Google searches are simple and easy but I will humor you. This is the same interview where speed 4 MC30 was confirmed (after I found the fact that the ship card had a white square at the sped 4 column)
As for Mikael Hasselstein's meta. . . I have explored a lot of it from both sides and I am no where near figuring it out. I doubt the IFF guys know either and I am willing to bet that they have more games in than most anyone else
I get that you're a fan and everything, but every podcast begins with them saying they haven't played much if at all due to X,Y,Z. I'm not trying to diss them or anything, but there are plenty of people who play more.
