Two 'huge' ships of the same class flown by same player...do they share damage decks? Or are four decks needed?

By xanderf, in X-Wing Rules Questions

With my second Gozer begging for play, now, I hit a question I couldn't easily find an answer to.

Generally, you only pull as many damage decks as you need to support the variety of stuff you bring, and everything that would use one type of deck just shares it (IE., all your regular fighters use the same damage deck). Clear enough if I was running a Raider alongside a Gozer, too - four decks. Fore/aft for the Raider, Fore/aft for the Gozer.

But...what about flying two Gozanti? Just one 'fore' deck, one 'aft' deck, and they share them? Or....two forward, two aft? If the latter, do you need to keep them separated, or...???

You need one set of decks for each Huge ship. Two Raiders would mean two Fore damage decks and two Aft damage decks.

And it would pay to keep them separate and assigned to a particular ship each.

One deck per huge ship, yes.

A simple way to keep them seperate would be to place them on opposite sides. A less simple way would be to try and find designed sleeves for them; or you could paint the back of them or such (just be sure they are all as much the same as possible.
