Soontir+Vader No Palps

So I'm trying to make a list focusing on Soontir and Vader because they are two of my favorites. The ️no Palpatine comes from me not owning one so I'm trying to fill out the last 30 points (27-29 for init. Bid) and was wondering if you guys had some ideas.

So far;

Soontir, AT+SD+PtL+ Title

Vader, EU+Title+ATC+VI

Comes to 70 points and I've thought of;

Omega Leader, Juke+Comms+SD(or shield upgrade) for 29(30) pts

Some kind of Stress Shuttle (Rebel Captive or Mara, Flechette Cannon, Sensor Jammer)

I'm also open to a lower point Vader (Title, Accuaracy Corrector, VI maybe TIE Mk II)

Basically a two ace imperial build with a third non palp ship.

Exactly the same question witch i was coming on the forum to post for ^^ (not sure of my english here)

I want choose between 2 blockers (2 Ties+ missile or 2 Tie/FO ) or 1 Jouster/blocker (Delta+MKII+X7)

Cutlass Squad Tie Punisher with Extra Munitions , Fire Control System, Flechette Torpedoes, and Ion Bombs is 29.

On a shuttle a Flechette Cannon seems like a waste, because you're trading a 3 dice atack for one that only does one damage and only adds a stress if the ship is not already stressed. You could do a mobile Shuttle (Advanced Sensors/Engine Upgrade) with Intelligence Agent for 29.

Bingo. That trio should scare the piss out of anyone across from it.

If you want an alternative to one of the 3 the inquisitor should slot in nicely.

Question #2; Stealth Device or Targeting Computer with Autothrusters on Fel? Recently played a game where he had SD+AT and while not suffering any damage (this was against Vader Fel Palp) at a 60 min timed round I would have lost because I couldn't kill Vader who only had 1 hull left but focused evaded with palp on the board each round. (At 75 mins I would have won though cause I eventually killed him and the shuttle was at 1/2 health). So would a more offensive or defensive build for Fel be better? I want to keep AT because of all the TLTS going around nowadays. Thanks!

Edit: I was running Fel with a DeciVader during this game, DeciVader killed my opponents Fel with crits before he could fire, stripped the shields off the shuttle and reduced Vader to hull. So, with those details included I think Fel did about 2-4 damage that game. I'm also still learning to fly Fel so while I didn't line up a lot of shots almost no one ever had a shot at him. Maybe I need to play more offensively?

Definitely keep SD on him, that will almost guarantee that he will not go down on a bad dice roll 1st or 2nd attack.

You also don't really want to take a TL action unless you are 100% sure you will not get attacked that round.

I'd say practice flying him as is, when flown properly (takes practice) not only is he hard to hit, he hits hard.

Also if you see your opponent trying to line up shots on him and ignoring your Deci, use that to get them into horrible spots.

I run it with taking engine off of vader and adding carnor jax with the same upgrades as fell.

Carnor jax is a ****. He's awesome.

Friend a match with no EU Vader to throw Jax in...very bad game I lost killed none of my opponents ships but man oh man those dice! I threw 6 greens at once with Fel and all blanks!

Next game I tried with Omega, no SD with prockets in Vader. Omega lost his shield and that was it against Bossk+Boba that game.

Nah, SD is brilliant on OL if you can keep him clear of too many other enemies than his target. Fat turrets in particular will have a nightmare with him if you can keep the conflict at range three and just chip one or two damage a round off them with no mods, focus, and Juke...

He's screwed by facing more than a couple of other ships though, so you have to fly very carefully with him.

I used OL+Juke+Comms to joust Bossk. Helped a lot that Bossk wiffed his attack rolls, Vader was basically right next to him and Fel behind.

It was a Bossk with PtL EU and some other upgrades with Kath using wingman and a few other upgrades and OL lost his shield cause I decided to keep his evade token on him, completely destroyed that list. Started Vader and OL straight across from his Kath and his angled Bossk with Fel off to my left to circle behind and flank. Bossk was done second or third round of shooting then it was just chasing Kath from there.

Every player has their own style. I personally like as much damage output as possible. I hardly ever fly Vader or A-Wings without prockets. Like you said if you can focus on omega which is what I do because I usually fly high PS pilots then the Stealth device really doesn't carry its weight IMO.

Vader, Fel, and OL sounds like a blast to fly!

No disrespect to Soontir but his problem is damage output as red blanks will happen. Bring Palpie and all good.

I like TC for a TL+F Range 1 shot on turns 2 and 3, puts him on Phantom level of output for less points (it's ok if he dies)

Also, TC for those turns he runs away and there is no use for his tokens

Friend said Juno+Title+ATC or AC or even two TIEs of some sort for blockers. Once again I don't have access to Palp (or Juno but friend would let me borrow I just really don't want to Palp I guess) also SD has been doing work but damage output is iffy on Fel so TC may be a try next time.

On your Decimator I would drop the Gunner and add in Expose saving 1 point and then add in Ysanne Isard for 4 points making 100pts total

With the Whisper Fel build I'm thunking of replacing Fel with VI Vader and maybe Colzet as a third ship.

You could get a couple of blockers, or just git gud :P

The thing with OL is that he has a psychological effect. People frigging HATE his effect on aces in particular. So they go for him a lot harder than his own effectiveness and points value would indicate, which gives your other ships freer rein to take control of the match.

Or they ignore him, in which case he picks the correct target and commences gently plinking it to death with relative impunity. I've played with him in both cases, and you can make either case work well for you.

Stick Engine Upgrade on the decimator, definitely. VI Chiraneau has a decent shot at arcdodging PS9s that way, which is hilarious.

The other option for 29 points would be doomshuttle; OGP Lambda with Vader/Gunner. Which is scary in a different way.
