Bright Lights

By Luke Licens, in X-Wing Squad Lists

So, I just picked up my Imperial Raider expansion, and I'm bound and determined to run a gaggle of TIE Advanced/X1s at my next event. I know they're not the most efficient ships, but I don't expect to win anyway and I want to see how well I can fly them against some of the meta-lists I'm expecting to see like 4Ys with TLTs, BBBBZ, and Corran/Dash.

These are what I've come up with, and I'd like to hear some thoughts. Thanks all.

This will ultimately work better:

Vader w/ predator, x-1, ATC & engine = 37

3 Tempests w/ x-1 & accuracy correctors = 21 x 3

100

Alternatively, you can put any EPT on Vader you feel like (veteran instincts, lone wolf, crack shot & juke are all good). Run the tempests together (2 in front, 1 in back) and have Vader close by (but not too close---you want to keep his lateral movement options open).

If you want all named pilots, this would be kinda cool:

Vader w/ Juke, x-1, ATC, proton rockets & engine = 39

Strom w/ Juke, x-1 & accuracy corrector = 28

Alozen w/ Juke, x-1, ATC & proton rockets = 31
